Just passing through on a Quinte West driving holiday. Wanted a place to relax, read my email, have espresso and a sandwich. First impression was the beautiful décor. Tall ceilings, Art Deco style ceiling lamps, wood floors, thonet style chairs, big wood framed deep silled windows. Loved the look and atmosphere. I ordered a chicken pesto sun dried tomato baguette sandwich. Delicious. My cappuccino was robust, smooth, full-bodied. Perfect.

Super cute café in downtown Napanee, it’s a great stop for a coffee if you are driving highway 2 from Belleville to Kingston, or the reverse. It’s about 4 minutes off of Highway 401, so if you are looking for something other than a Tim Horton’s coffee, this is a worthy spot for a short pause, particularly in spring/summer/fall.(In the winter, I might choose to not leave the highway, depending on the weather, even for a good latte.) Staff were friendly, and they had a nice selection of pastries. Would I return: Yes Would I recommend: Yes

I’m not a coffee person, but this place is a delight. It’s the sort of place that, if Starbucks were Walmart, people would be concerned about being put out of business. You get the lattes and cappuccinos, teas, smoothies, and mochas. And John Mayer playing on the radio. It’s good. Grab a cup & pull up a chair.

The mochas are absolutely perfect. The barista is such a pro and very friendly. The pastries are sinfully delicious. The atmosphere is modern old-world. This is a hidden gem in Nappanee and not to be missed. Avoid Sbux and head straight for C.C.

I was taking a break from my Annual Avril Lavigne Hometown Stalkfest(AALHS) when I discovered this cute coffee shop in the heart of Napanee. With tall ceilings and rich hardwood floors, Coffee Cravings is the perfect cozy café for a jaded city dweller like me. Their sign boasting«sleep is a poor substitute for coffee» makes the point that Coffee Cravings takes their joe seriously. My americano was rock solid. They’ve also got muffins, biscotti, pastries, and scones the size of your head. Try it next time you’re hunting down Canadian pop-punk starlets. Obligatory Title Pun: You’ll go stark CRAVING mad. Menu Readability: All caps brush script on over-counter signage. MEH. Need to mention: They also sell merch like French presses and grinders and something I’ve never seen before: a reusable sleeve called a Java Jacket. What this place teaches me about myself: When hearkening the siren song of Avril, it’s best to be caffeinated.
