Was excited to visit the Bistro with my wife today after seeing a couple good reviews. At the end of the day this place just didn’t live up to the value that it cost to eat here. Good: OK inside looks Small and quaint Unique menu ideas Bad: Out of multiple items on the menu Poor value Mediocre flavours Slow and unprepared service Food: Had fish three ways. It was ok, nothing special. Wife had basically spaghetti with stewed tomatoes and pork on top. Very bland Bread to start was fresh and tasty Decent wine choices from the area Weren’t willing to stick around for dessert Overall we paid nearly $ 100 for a meal I felt was worth $ 60 at best. Lacked fresh and intense flavours and really took a long time for the server to move things along. I won’t be returning and will quest for other tasty places in Grimsby instead. I recommend you do as well. Mobark

This is by far Grimsby’s best kept secret! This is our second time here, and everything is fresh and very delicious. Tonight I had the penne with hot Italian sausage, and I have to say the balance of the hot & sweet flavors was perfection. Everything is made fresh in house. What a gem.

Our meals tasted very good. The décor was clean and pleasant. It is small restaurant tucked away in a residential area. The menu/restaurant style is a bit confusing because we couldn’t figure out if is an Italian bistro, or a Mediterranean bistro, or maybe it is French. It was good eats and good service, I would return.
