Say It With Cake!

Had a custom Birthday Cake made by Say It with Cake! And I was VERY disappointed!
It was WAY too much money for what I got. I paid nearly $ 60 for a cake that fed two people.. .and it wasn’t even very tasty. I asked for chocolate raspberry and I’m positive that there was no raspberry in it. Either that, or the raspberry flavouring was so bland I couldn’t taste it. On top of that, the chocolate cake was dry and stale tasting.
the outside of the cake was as disappointing as the inside. I asked for a dark and brooding looking cake and when I got it, it was pastel blue, more fit for a baby shower than the spooky party I was having. AND the major design on the top was only SCREENPRINTED on the icing. There was no fondant work, no hand crafting. You know where else they do screenprinting on cakes? ZHERS. I could have gotten a GROCERY STORE CAKE that would have looked about the same.. .and it probably would have been tastier and definitely would have been cheaper.
I was hoping for this cake to be a showpiece of my party, but instead it was an embarrassment.
The only good thing I can say about Say It With Cake is that their products aren’t permanent. At least when you get a terrible cake from them, you can eat it and not have to look at it anymore.
Extremely disappointing experience. I won’t go back.
