Swan Moving & Storage

The owner of this company was very rude and the price charged was higher than quoted. The movers themselves were slow and pokey. I would definitely not recommend. There are better movers in the area.
After leaving my review, I was contacted by the owner 1 year later. As you can see below, still no apology and now trying to buy a positive review.
«Mr and Mrs Sachs… I am the owner of Swan Moving. In 43 years of service we have only ever had 2 bad reviews… both of them by you. We moved your entire house on December 16, 2014 in 6 and ½ hours. Every client is informed at time of booking that movers charge travel time from shop and back to shop at jobs end. Your own estimate of this travel time is 13 minutes each way. You state the job took 5 hours and 20 minutes plus ½ hour travel equals 6 hours… our calculation of time was 6 and ½ hours… There is a difference of ½ hour. I am not a rude person. This is a family business and is very important to me. Your negative reviews hurt us. If I were to refund to you this ½ disputed time will you remove your negative comments from the Unilocal,Homestars and other site you have posted on? Your comments please… Mike Swan»
No Mike, your comments were rude and condescending. You can not buy good reviews and you had a chance to take corrective actions at that time and had no interest. You may not be a rude person but on that day Sir, you were rude. Accept the consequences as a reminder that the customer comes first. I am not interested in your money. I would rather have been treated with respect.
