Target

This Target is legit. Not sure why Canadians aren’t giving Target more love? I used to shop here a decade ago when this was a terrible Zellers and also the other Zellers locations at Stone Road Mall that was only a block away! Huge improvement to have it be a Target, plus there’s now a Future Shop. You used to have to drive to Cambridge if you wanted to buy electronics. This whole commercial space has developed a lot over the past 7 years with the expansion of the mall.
As for Target, were Canadians seriously expecting US pricing? No US company in Canada sells products at the same prices they do in the U.S. There’s all kind of price fixing going on and Target is just one of many.
This stuff is a lot nicer than what you find at Walmart and Canadian Tire and I find the prices comparable. The store was well stoked while I was there.
I’ll admit that the staff aren’t maybe as readily available as they are at the Super Target I regularly shop at in Florida, but that’s almost a cultural problem in Canada.
They *really* should accept Amex though.
