329-Cell

I’ve had three repairs done for family members here and each time they were done very quickly and at a reasonable cost. Great service, and I recommend 329-​cell to anyone who needs a phone repaired.

A while ago I had the unfortunate experience of having my display screen stop working on my Galaxy S3 when I… ahem…dropped it.
After going to Eastlink and feeling like I was going to be gouged in unimaginable ways, I decided to do some research and see if I could find someone to repair it independently. I made a few calls, but was always given the answer. new screen $ 200 and up plus tax. I had been doing some digging on the internet and found that sometimes, in this phone, there can be a simply a lose connection which would be an easy fix. Not one person mentioned this to me. That was until I happened to be browsing the Harbourview Market in Dartmouth and came upon the guy from 329-​Cell. He was the first person who willingly told me it may be a simple, inexpensive fix. I liked the fact that he did not go immediately to the most expensive scenario as being the only possibility, and felt like I could trust him to be honest with me about what actually needed to be done. He was quite busy that day, so not having time to wait, I left my phone with him to be picked up the next Saturday.
It turns out that the screen did need replacing, due to a small crack in the back. His price was $ 190, taxes in. This was by far the best price I had been quoted and was more than happy to pay it in order to avoid sending the phone away through Eastlink. I returned and found my phone in perfect repair. It is working great still, months later.
Be advised that this is inside of The Harbourview Market in Dartmouth, which is kind of like a little dingy flea market. You will have to pay a dollar to go in, even if it is just to retrieve your phone. The market does have some interesting vendors if you feel like browsing. If this isn’t your scene, I believe he works out of his home as well through the same business number. All in all a good experience. I believe I was charged fairly and honestly and would not hesitate to use his service in the future should my phone go on the fritz.
