This is a little place that serves up big tastes. You’ll find it at an intersection in an area of town that has some cool stuff popping up. Inside, you get that low budget, «I hope they put more effort into their food than their décor» charm. Quite a bit more charming was the older gentleman worker(owner?) who helped me pick my food from the removable handmade cards that were placed on racks on the wall and used as the menu. There were some good vegan choices. I noticed lamb and chicken cards also. I got three items to take away. He threw in some unbelievably good dessert. The food tasted great. It was obviously very Indian influenced, but distinct. Very salty though, and that’s the reason I didn’t give it the full five stars. It was also a little lacking in having various degrees of spiciness. It was sort of stun or none. I’ll be going back though. There aren’t many places like this in Halifax.
