Chocolate Lake Centre has a lot to offer the community. They have activities you can take part in, dance, sports, personal development, wellness, all at reasonable prices.
This is part of the HRM of Halifax and they try to keep the costs down for all activities.
Also part of the area is Chocolate Lake, we were there on the weekend. It does not have a large beach area, but it does have a life guard on duty.
They also put chlorine in the water the keep down the levels of bacteria etc. It is a great place to cool off when in the city.
