I love this little park located just off of Conrose Avenue in the South End. There is a baseball diamond, perfect for hitting dingers on a sunny afternoon, as well as a great playground for the little ones to run wild. When you come upon the entrance to the park, you will notice two little beds filled with veggies. As far as I can tell, this is a public garden kept up by locals for all to enjoy. Feel free to pull some weeds and plant something sweet, or else harvest a veggie or two to enjoy. After swinging the bat and climbing the monkey bars, set up shop on the grass with a blanket and a book, taking in some cloud watching and drifting into an early evening cat nap. This is a gem of a park, tucked into a quiet neighborhood. If you’re looking for a fun place to head with the dog or the kids, or simply all by your lonesome, I recommend this sweet little knoll.
