Natures Cove

Nature’s Cove is nothing fancy but they do carry a lot of local products that I love, such as In the Raw, Cultured Coconut and the Lively Bakery. It’s a little out of the way for me on the Bedford Highway but great for those in that area. The woman working there was extremely nice and helpful.

Great place to buy all your organic and natural products. Free range meats and anything Healthy.

I was driving down the Bedford Highway today and thought, «Hmmm. I really don’t want to drive past my apartment and have to go to Sobeys and then double back again. If only there was somewhere I could get all my shopping done in one place that wasn’t a gross chain store.»
And then I remembered Nature’s Cove, and how I would go there with my mom every couple of months. Then I remembered how it had gotten better between each visit. What was it like inside now? Was it better still?
Oh my God, it’s got so much stuff, you guys! I found everything on my shopping list from hot dog buns down to tampons. Everything is neatly organized and shelves that you think look bare are actually packed with what you need and not just stuffed with useless garbage. It felt amazing to give so much of my business away to local businesses. Heppy’s Pies are here (in both free-​range and regular chicken and turkey pot pies– Double check if that’s important to you!), Meadowbrook Pork, 24 Carrots, and lots more.
Also, the cashier was a blast to chat with and she gave me my yogurt at a discount when she saw the sell by date was up in two days. Fantastic service!

I am so into this store! I love having somewhere easy to go for local and organic products. Their prices are really reasonable I applaud their decision to turn an ordinary convenience store into a healthy food market that supports and promotes local producers. It was a huge risk on their part and I hope it pays off. I try to get as many of my groceries there as possible. I love that they always have Just Us coffee brewing for take-​out too. The staff is fantastic! I love this store!
