I called personal touch and had my repairs done in the same day. The tailor was able to replace the Zippers and see the wholes in my winter coat giving it another year or more of life. The tailor was friendly, kind and efficient. Well worth it!

The best! I accidentally ripped my roommates dress when I wore it and had to get it fixed before she noticed(haha)! I called Sana and told her the situation and she told me to bring it in right away! I ran it down and she said she could have it repaired in an hour. I came back and there the dress was, seamlessly repaired and for only $ 8.00! Sana is also an absolute sweetheart on top of being a killer seamstress. I will be back again and again :)

I bought a nice, lightly lined jacket that is mid length and perfect for spring. I’m a small person-as in skinny-and needed it taken it from under the arms down. Sasa did a a good job, but didn’t do the same to the lining so I had to go back. She fixed it within a couple of hours and didn’t charge me extra, so I has happy.

Saana is the best seamstress i have ever found in the HRM. she is super talented and her prices are very reasonable. she has always been able to do whatever i have asked her to do for a very fair price. i am so grateful that i have found her.

As another reviewer pointed out– the plethora of bridesmaids dresses is kind of off-putting. But if you make your way thought the pastel taffeta you won’t be disappointed. I’ve taken a few tings here from zipper replacements, hemming, and most recently I had the sleeves lengthened in a jacket. The lady who owns this place knows her stuff.

Don’t be put off by the prom and bridesmaids dresses in the window if you’re not in the market — this is a great spot to get tailoring done quickly and inexpensively. Sana is the lovely proprietress, and she greets everyone with a smile and can-do attitude. I have had multiple pairs of jeans hemmed here, and zippers replaced on items from skirts to my favourite wool winter jacket. Sana will put a rush on anything you need if necessary, though I have never needed anything quickly. She is capable and pleasant to deal with. Replacing a small zipper will run you around $ 8 – 10 and having some small alterations done will likely be around $ 10-$ 20. You can ask at the time if you’re concerned about cost, though I have always found it to be very reasonable and much better than messing it up myself! You can also pay when you drop your items off or when you pick them up. There’s a curtained off dressing room if you need to put on trousers before hemming or get advice on other alterations. I highly recommend this place as it’s efficient and inexpensive!
