Went to get a Greek salad with chicken. Tasted great but it was a little on the small side but no big deal there because the box was nice and heavy so I knew it was compacted in it. The only reason why I gave it three stars is because I was expecting grilled chicken in it not cut up crispy chicken strip. Trying to watch my carbs in take it kinda threw me for a loop. Guess I’ll need to learn to ask but I thought it might be a given with a salad not to have crispy if it wasn’t advertised crispy!

I’ve been to this locations numerous times. The pizza town style is great and I love the food, but the quality is not as good as some of the other stores. Other then that no complaints and this is still a great go to spot

As Pizzatown is right across the street from my best friend’s house, we often end up here by the end of the night looking for a way to recharge. I’ve sampled quite a bit of their menu, and everything is always tasty and freshly prepared, with a reasonable wait time. The staff is amazing, super friendly and always ready to point out deals that will save you cash. The donair poutine is delicious, with lots of shaved meat to enjoy as well as cheese and hot gravy. A small can easily feed two people as a snack, but one person can also make a meal out of it. The nachos are very good, with tri-colour chips and lots of jalapenos, tomatoes, onions, and cheese. My one complaint about the nachos is that the cheese is double layered, but the nachos are only sent through the oven once. This means that the inside layer is still shredded and not melted, which can be a disappointment once the delicious melted cheese is finished and you crave more. Be warned though, the nachos are quite a large serving, even if you choose the small! As for the pizza, it’s standard neighbourhood fare, which means solid food at a low price. Nothing mind-blowing, but certainly a safe bet should you find yourself hungry for some delivery. It also reheats well, which is an important test for pizza if you ask me. With both Pizzatown and Pizza Pizza on the same street, the compition is fierce. I personally would go with Pizzatown for a larger menu and variety. If you have to feed a lot of people, or you want more options for your late-night meal other than just pizza, you’ll be sure to find something for every taste here.

If you’re in the mood for a tasty, doughy pizza then this is the place to go! I have been searching for a new go-to pizza place for a while now, and I think this is it! They have a great Offers section on their website and a lot of their deals are cheaper then other pizza places I have checked out! We ended up getting two medium pizzas, a medium garlic fingers and pop with delivery for less then $ 30! The deal we choose had two toppings per pizza which didn’t seem like a lot, but when we got them we found out they are very generous with their toppings! I find that sometimes when you get pizza delivered you don’t always get that«fresh out of the oven» taste by the time you get it but this wasn’t the case with Pizza Town! It came hot, fresh and very tasty! My only complaint was that I couldn’t find the option for delivery on their website, but when we called to ask it turns out they do deliver.

I’m pretty pleased with this place. When I need delivery pizza, this is one of my first stops. They have a «buck an inch» deal which can be a good deal, and they have rotating specials. Check the Offers section on their website before ordering to see what the specials are right now. I’ve gotten a vegetarian pizza(sun-dried tomatoes, grilled zucchini, and feta cheese) a few times and I’m pretty pleased with it. My carnivorous roommate seems to like the meaty pizzas. Basil and oregano are free toppings, so take advantage! They have online ordering now, too, though I still always call. Oh, and their dessert pizza was great, but I don’t see it on the menu anymore. Could it be… discontinued? Say it ain’t so. :( Dessert pizza or no, I’ll probably order from here again. They deliver on time, the grilled zucchini is actually tasty, and the pizza sauce is delectable. What more can you expect from delivery pizza?

I ordered three large pizzas from here today for a work function and am very impressed. We ordered from the Robie St location(which is closer to our office) once before and everyone raved about the pizza. I planned to order from there again, but ran into a bit of a speed bump. No one answered the phone. Ever. So I checked the website to see if any other locations were close by, and voila — Joe Howe! I knew the tides were turning when the phone was answered after only one ring. I asked what time they opened and if all the other locations have the same hours. They’d been open since 10am, and yes all locations open at that time. I mentioned my frustration with calling the other location, but that I was happy to have another option close by to order from. The gentleman I spoke with apologized on behalf of the other location and explained that the two locations in question are run by different people. I placed my order without a hitch. I headed over later to pick up the pies, and A) it came to way less than I expected due to specials I wasn’t even aware of — always nice!, B) the owner again apologized about my experience with the Robie location, gave me a card with his store’s direct phone number and basically asked for our future business. And you know what? He’s got it. As for the pizza? Their signature sauce is so flavourful — I love it. The ingredients are fresh and tasty, and the crust is just right. It’s the only pizza no one complains about when we order for work functions. The Greek pizza(vegetarian) is amazing. I ordered a pep, ground beef and mushroom pizza, and it was gone in like 2 seconds — so so good. I didn’t try the PT Classic, but I heard good things. Great customer service goes a long way!

What I really love about pizzatown is their customer service. And did you know they have a 2 medium deal for 20 bucks? You do now! We decided to try this much-recommended establishment after many months of putting it off in favor of the usual tried and true joint, which also happens to be closer to our building. However. bussing by on our way home one day, we were lured in on the promise of two whole pizzas for 20 bucks. Not just the two-topping ones either, ANY pizzas. Upon viewing the menu, I found out that there was not one, not two, but SIX vegetarian options for pizzas. I was impressed. The pizza making guy helped us navigate the menu, offering to make any pizza a half and half. He even threw in a couple free dipping sauces, and a free jr. donair wrap for the other half of our party to try(which I am told was quite good). And now down to it: the pizzas. They were very tasty. Not quite as delicious as the usual joint, but still very good. The price was also very reasonable. If the usual joint treated customers as nicely as pizzatown does, I probably wouldn’t switch… but alas I am a sucker for niceness. Pizzatown is officially my new favorite.

My favourite meal is pizza, but since I’ve become a gluten-free individual, finding delicious alternative is difficult. Enter Pizzatown. This Pizzatown location is a total guilty pleasure for me. The fact that they have gluten-free crust options is amazing. I don’t order pizza very often, but whenever I need a fix, I get friendly service, prompt delivery and a tasty and reliable gluten-free dinner.

Mmmm… how great would it be if there were actually a whole town devoted to pizza? Would all the buildings be made of pizza, with mozzarella canopies and crust archways, pepperoni roof shingles and black olive window frames? I think I would have to move there. Sure, I might put on a few pounds, but I’d have a lot of fun doing so… Now imagine the town next door was made of chocolate… But alas, as such things are not meant to be(although that’s probably a good thing…), I will get to the point: Pizzatown. Good quality pizza, consistent, with a variety of menu options, including, as others have mentioned, gluten free crusts and lower calorie pizza pies. Staff at this location are always very friendly as well. The one(and only) thing on their menu that I haven’t had a good experience with is their nachos, which the tend to burn(also, they seem a bit stingy with the toppings). However, you can’t really go wrong with the pizza, so if you stick with that you should be a-ok. Ooo, tomato sauce rivers would work really well in a town made of pizza too! Er, okay, I think I’m done… Enjoy your pizza!

Pizzatown is generally my go-to pizza choice in Halifax. They have enough locations that pretty much any where you live is within delivery distance. They have lots of selection for toppings — artichoke anyone? — and they are very consistent. You’re probably not going to find the«omg this is the best pizza I’ve ever had» here but you will find quality pizza, with good customer service.

Pizzatown is a nice little spot with a spectrum of pizza pie offerings. Gluten-free, gourmet, classics, calorie counting options and full-impact fixings are all available under one roof. I can always appreciate a little gluten-free action, so thats what brought this place up to four stars. While I didn’t find the pizza here mind-blowing, it was still very tasty, and a great pizza fixing. There is lots of opportunity to customize and tweak your pizza preference so its exactly what you’re craving. And this is a place where nutrition sticklers can eat alongside those looking to enjoy a full– bodied indulgence. Great franchise. I’ll likely stick to my regulars for my usual pizza times, but Pizzatown is a great concept with tasty slices. A nice place to bring the family as well.

Pizzatown pwns the pizza market in Halifax. Starting with the first store opened in 1990, they have expanded to seven stores in the Halifax area, including this one on Joe Howe Dr. For specialty pizzas, I’m pretty sure that no-one else in the city can match their creativity and fresh ingredients. We’ve never been unhappy with a Pizzatown pizza(how often can you say that for comparable pizza joints?!). We’ve tried so many of the specialty pizzas that it can be hard to remember exactly what we liked about each one. The chicken parmesan and the Tuscany are special favourites at this house. Pizzatown also offers both calorie-wise and gluten free pizzas, setting them apart from most pizza joints in the city. There are always specials offered online, so check out their page before ordering. You’ll be amazed at the variety of themed pizzas available, and might even have to order more than one!(Right now, Pizzatown is running a half-price special, making it even easier to give in to your cravings! Hurry, this special won’t last long.)
