Pop-A-Lock

This is one of those services that you kind of hope you never have to use but the chance is most people will at one point. I’d been having issues over the past week or so with my lock sticking and not being able to get the key in let alone turn it to unlock my car. My car only has the one key hole on it (I’m not sure what Honda was thinking when they came up with that design.) so not being able to use the drivers lock was a serious issue. I came out after the big storm this week and shoveled my car out only to be unable to get into it.
As this was clearly more complex than a frozen lock, or simply keys that had been locked inside the vehicle, I wasn’t sure if these were the right guys to call. I honestly figured I’d end up dragging my car to a mechanic to be worked on (a problem considering I couldn’t get into it to drive it anywhere). I was thrilled to find out that not only were Laurie and his assistant able to come to my parking lot but that they could be there in a matter of hours. They spent a solid 2 and a half hours working away on my car and replacing parts of my key and even checked the ignition which they told me had been pretty gunked up as well and couldve posed issues down the road. The charged me the flat hourly rate exactly as I’d been quoted on the phone (for 2 hours only depsite the fact I know it was at least 2hours 20 minutes!) and were helpful with options for replacing my broken key fob. I like that they weren’t pushy and told me I could always opt to replace that part down the road rather than have the added expense today.
The convenience and friendliness of service means I will absolutely keep their number on file should I ever find myself in need of this kind of assistance down the road. I would highly reccomend them to anyone :)

Had a great experience with Pop A Lock. Called to get three locks re-​keyed — They were on time, worked quickly and offered up a solution for an old fashioned garage door. Prices were very reasonable.

Had a great experience with Pop-​A-​Lock. They were available with only a few hours notice, on time and the technician was knowledgeable, friendly and happy to explain everything as he went along. They were very well setup for the job, had everything they needed with them including a mobile payment device so could do debit/​credit onsite.
The price was a bit more than anticipated, but that was due to some unexpected surprises so not their fault. It would’ve been useful to know upfront how the price could change if things didn’t go according to plan but the change was definitely reasonable.
