Sobeys

We’ve been going to this Sobeys for a number of years now and it’s great.
The produce department is fantastic, everything is fresh and if they’re ever out of sale items it’s no problem to get a rain-​check. The bakery is always busy, but has great selection. The seafood/​meat department staff are awesome! They have great suggestions on what would work for a number of different meals and have some great recipes.
I love that the folks who work here are all local — I volunteer at the high school and I quite often run-​into kids and parents working at or shopping at this Sobeys. And they support the local community! You’ll always see signs out front advertising this week’s hockey game, or a fundraiser for our local schools. And almost every weekend there’s a BBQ or kids group bagging groceries. It’s a great community meeting spot and I love how they continue to support local not for profits, school groups and spots teams.
A great location, great staff, great community feeling. I love this Sobeys!
