SoftMoc

I like shopping at SoftMoc because they have great quality brands at a good price. I feel like the offerings are more utilitarian and practical than fashion-​forward, but everyone needs a good birkenstock or solid winter boot. This location is teeny tiny, and I really think they are due for a bigger space. However, despite the close quarters, the staff are agile in moving around and finding the sizes you are looking for.
It’s a busy location, and frequently I find that offputting, due to the small space. I tend to do my research on what I want online, and either check in-​store stock of my size before I visit, or order for in-​store pickup. They’ve got what I want, I just don’t always love the in-​store experience.

SoftMoc is a great store. You will find all the best sandals such as Birkenstock. I always go in here for summer, the selection is great.
These shoes are sold for comfort, style and quality.
The staff here really assist you and know the different makes of shoes. Most of the shoes are the higher end, and they do carry a great selection for men.
This is one of my go to stores when I want a quality pair.

Whenever I need a comfortable shoe, Soft Moc is almost always on my «must shop» list. Their inventory carries brands like Clark and Rockport, along with other high-​end names.
The staff at Soft Moc are very knowledgeable about the product they carry and can easily suggest several different shoe options should your initial choice not be suitable. When I started working retail, it was Soft Moc who found me the only shoes that didn’t kill my feet and hips by the end of a shift.
True, the store can be a bit cluttered (check out those nifty storage solutions behind the shoe racks!) but I think that’s less a reflection on the staff and more a function of the large stock they carry with little place to store it.
Soft Moc is on my top three list of shoe stores — it should be on yours too!

I don’t usually find myself in shoe stores like Soft Moc, which specializes mostly in orthopaedic, medical and custom footwear. This is where I first thought to look when I decided to buy myself a pair of Birkenstock sandals a few summers ago.
The staff was helpful when I was picking out my style of Birks, and although there are many styles in stock and even more that are available to order in, I went with the classics. Due to the high quality of the stock at Soft Moc, it is reasonable to expect to pay more than what you would at a department store, but rest assured that you will be making a good investment. My sandals have been worn heavily for 3 years and they look almost brand new. When I bought them the woman suggested that I also get the cork glue to restore the shoes after they’d begun to weather.
Hot Hint: There are great sales at the end of every season, but most of the footwear isn’t seasonal and you can find sandals and slip ons all year.

I did end up walking away from this store with a pair of winter boots that I’m really happy with, but I also felt that the service was barely-​there.
They had all of the shoe boxes piled up around the small store, so when I found a pair to try I just picked out my size and found a chair. The only problem was that the box had but one boot. Its partner was not the one on display, so when I eventually got help from one of the salespeople, he had to hunt it down for me.
I liked the boots, but I also wanted to know it the lining was actual wool, since I’m allergic. The saleslady who came to help me (as the other guy had abandoned me for new customers) didn’t have the answer, and could not find it on the boot since the tags were mysteriously removed. Fortunately the first salesman helped her out, and yes it was man made materials.
I ended up buying the boots, since I liked them so much. However, I wouldn’t recommend shopping here unless you already know exactly what you want.
