Ate here the other day. Had to go to the hospital because of horrible food poisoning. Spent around 12 hours in the hospital with IVs pumping through me along with throwing up consistently. If you want to go through what I did. I highly recommend trying this place out !

I wasn’t overly impressed with the starters here but I feel that every time I go here it is late and beer is the focus on people’s minds. I have heard great things about the lunch menu so I will have to be back to try it. There is live music, friendly staff and an alright selection of beer.

Stopped here for lunch while in port on our cruise. The Split Crow Pub is an English Pub with typical English Pub food. The Fish and Chips were very good! The Caesars were delicious! I should know, I had 2! :) My husband got the burger and he said it had a bit of an aftertaste that he didn’t care for but otherwise, everything was great!
Our Server was great! Very friendly and checked back often to see if we needed refills.
This is a good restaurant and if we ever make it back to Halifax, we will come here again!

Had the bangers and mash, and it was ok. Has the usual pub/​bar atmosphere. Seems like it’d be a lot of fun if you were there to watch a big event like the world cup or stanley cup.
I was surprised at how far away and buried the restrooms were…

Been going here for 16 years and it’s too bad there is little investment. Has a lot of potential and the service is great and the food as well.
However. The condition of the bathrooms and the wood reeks of many nights of beer being drank and spilled. The bathrooms are disgusting –there were flies coming out of the drains and toilets not clean (crap on paper on the floor) bathroom fixtures falling off and forget about the soap — and the humidity just was way off for a basement bathroom.
Looks like it’s a drinking place for kids too young and drunk to care. But man. With a little investment this place would be very cool.
The food being good is something I think about when the bathrooms are like they are and the wood in the establishment is sticky gross.

If you’re at college, or wish you were, come here. .beer selection is great, live music too, but unfortunately service is tailored too that less demanding clientele. Fun for sports etc.

Yup! A great place to hang out. Yummy food. Amazing live talent. And friendly service. We shall be back. Thanks for making us feel so welcome. We had fish and chips and seafood chowder and stayed cosy there on a rainy cool night.

Ive yet to go to a split crow and leave happy. Been to all three locations and have had poor service, food was meh, and one we walked in and sat down and no one came to take our order. 3 times, ive learned my lesson.
