Just got into Halifax and needed to get a key made, so I came straight to this location since I am staying near Park Lane mall. Luckily for me, the mall is open late for this week before Christmas and wasn’t too busy when I stopped by.
The gal working the counter was super friendly and in a surprising good mood for the week before Christmas (how refreshing!). She made the key really quickly and managed to answer questions and help other customers without any issues or looking frazzled. I was really pleased with how friendly she was (maybe from living out west I am not used to this, who knows).
Also, getting a plain key made is $ 3.50, so no complaints about hiking up prices in the downtown area or anything like that. I looked at all the gift items while I was waiting, they have great options for weddings/​special occasions and Christmas decorations available — all which can be engraved. Convenient stop if you are downtown and needing any of these services!
