Good for late night eats. I usually order a large calzone because it’s well-​priced and can fill me up. Everyone there is also incredibly friendly. I’ve been eyeing their sweet crepes for a while now, so one of these days I’ll have to order every single one of them.

One of the best places to eat if you live around McMaster/​Westdale. The $ 5 chicken shawarma is one of the best shawarma deals you’ll ever find.
Their menu is expansive and has a wide array of options including subs and pizzas, you will always be able to find something you’re craving here.
My personal favourite dish is the beef stroganoff entrée, which comes with a salad, rice and pita too.
The staff at basalique is super friendly and it’s always a pleasure to talk to the owner

This used to be one of my regular pizza and wings joints when I studied at McMaster, and the owner, Mamdou (hope I spelled it right) was always warm and welcoming to everyone that came in!
I came back after almost 8 years, and I’ll stand by what I’ve said before, this is some of the best pizza and wings, period.
On top of that, the service is always friendly, and Mamdou even remembered me after all these years!
They also have a menu with tons of other amazing items on it, but you must have their pizza and wings when you go.
One thing that would be nice to see in the future would be reusable plates and cups for sit-​in customers, we gotta take care of our environment!

The food here is great, really quality. I love the chicken calzone (it has an awesome sweet bbq sauce), the falafels, and the rice that comes with the full plate meals. I was not a big fan of the baba ganouj, it tasted too strongly like tahini.
The service was acceptable. They don’t come out to serve you, you go up to the counter to order, which is fine. However, I had a hard time just getting some tap waters for the table — when they were busy, all staff was in the kitchen, and seemed to ignore me. For the water they gave small styrofoam cups (who uses styrofoam anymore?) which was a bit odd. Pretty minor issues though, it’s more of a take out place anyway.

This is a fantastic little restaurant that’s open late. All meat is halal, so it’s high quality. Their pizzas are amazing, especially their topping choices and combinations. What’s even better are their chicken wings, and very well priced too. Anything you can possibly get on this menu is just fantastic.

I never expect this restaurant opens till so late. After our first fencing class, Yujie and I took a bite here. The Carlzon was so good. We ordered a small one, most likely a folded pizza with 3 toppings inside.(9.5 dollars inclut tax) We chose mushroom beef and pepperoni and shared a small one. The sauce is surprisingly great~~It opens till 1 am and from Thursday to Sat till 3 am

I have been to this location three times; ate there twice.
The staff was very unprofessional, as was the food (slow service).
Ordered a Tabouli salad and Vegan Wrap. Took ten minutes to receive my order, I was the only one waiting.
They charged me 5 dollars for 1 cup of the worst restaurant Tabouli salad I have ever seen. :-(Very poor food prep.
I returned the salad. The wrap was nothing to rave about.
I certainly wont eat their again.
Too Expensive.
Poor Service.
