Where should I begin… Howard was great at our first appointment, really friendly and easy to work with. We told him specifically what we were looking for which was a variety of English, Portuguese and Spanish music. He told us a bit about himself and a few of the weddings he’s done in the past, including lots of Portuguese weddings. He also said he was married to a Portuguese women and had all the triditional Portuguese music. How could we go wrong there?
Day of the wedding: The groom gave Howard a cd of songs he wanted the bridal party to walk in to, however Howard did not play it and chose his own music for us to walk into, what we requested upon booking was not provided to us. He did not follow the itinerary that was given to him by the bride, groom and wedding coordinator, instead howard went with his own judgement which is not in the agreement. The dancing portion of the reception did not even start until 10pm and when Howard was confronted by the bride, groom, bridal party, and guests, Howard tried talking back to the bride and was very rude to our guests. He didn’t play any music that was requested by anyone and only played 1 Portuguese song the entire reception, this was very upsetting for our wedding of 150 guests this was the last thing we thought we would have to worry about.
In all honesty, we are not looking to get any money back from Howard, what’s done is done. I wanted to take time to write this review because I don’t want anyone to go through that nightmare, especially on your special day it should be a day to enjoy, a day of what the bride and groom want.
