What can I say about the best burger around? No other fast food place comes even close — not to mention the perfect fries that explode from the paper bag. Certainly nothing healthy but if you have a burger craving this is my recommendation

Went in to this place with pretty high hopes. I can see why some people were complaining about the cost because everything is separately ordered. For $ 30 plus dollars we expected some really good burgers. They were busy but efficient and we did not have to wait long. The big complaint was this… first off, we got our bag and we were going to sit and eat but when we opened the bag there were fries was as if there were no container and they just dumped the fries into the bag. Our burgers were underneath and because they were cajun fries our hands were became so messy trying to get the burgers out. I think it was VERY inconvenient and annoying that it was given to us that way and whether or not that is how they do it there it is just wrong. Is it difficult to have proper containers to fit all the fries so they don’t get everywhere? We asked the worker of they had a container and they gave us a soda cup. she was sweet and it wasn’t her fault but really. a soda cup? Secondly, we went in thinking we would sit and eat but how could we? There are no trays not even disposable plates. Just napkins? That is unsanitary and inconvenient. We decided to just drive home and eat so we could actually eat like normal people on plates. Now because they dumped the fries in to the bag, the oil was soaking into the bag and the bag started ripping. You really need to fix your approach. The burgers were good(hence the one star) but not good enough to return. Tip: look into getting the appropriate containers. What a disappointment.

Fries were really good, just like the ones at a fry stand. I suggest getting a small for 2 people because the portion is quite large. We got the bacon cheeseburger. Pretty good but I’ve had better. Ridiculously expensive for two burgs, medium fries, and two small fountain drinks. $ 36 is pretty pricey in my opinion

Hamburgers here have always been good to me, with good condiments selection options. The fries portions have also been generous, as reported elsewhere. I can’t say I’ve ever been unimpressed with the quality. I can’t speak to the hot dogs because I’ve never tried them. Maybe I’m too conditioned to soggy buns or bland hamburger from every other fast food hamburger joint, so to my mind Five Guys’ meat remains a cut above everyone else(McDonald’s, Burger King, Wendy’s, etc.). But, and it’s a big one, the prices are very high for hamburger and fries. Given that the competition pretty much gives the drink away in the combo, it seems particularly egregious when Five Guys doesn’t do it. The other drawback is the speed, or lack thereof, in getting the food out. Again, I’ll cut Five Guys some slack because the speeds are roughly compatible to the competition, but it sure is annoying to watch higher numbered orders go out before yours. I would love to know why that is. Lastly, the décor is minimalist at best. Ambiance is zero. The eating area has rather a «face for take-out». I mean, why stay? Maybe that’s their business plan, to reduce the need and costs to clean up. So in summary: the value is only there, barely, if everything lines up for you: you don’t mind overpaying, the food turns out well, and is out fast, and you plan on going takeout anyway. If any one of these things fails, the value goes out the window. Will return, but only after some time to forget these salient points.

Mixed feelings here, I appreciate that the fries are fresh cut and the burgers are a step above any regular fast food restaurant, however, I have two issues; mainly price and portion. On our last visit we bought two hot dogs, pop and fries and it was way over twenty bucks and I couldn’t believe it! The fries were a huge portion but the dogs were tiny and soggy. They sat on the counter dressed for over five minutes before the dog was done and then wrapped in tinfoil which made the bun sweat, which was already soggy from the condiments. Our fries were hot at first but not crisp, they sat in a bag waiting for the hotdogs and literally wilted, lol. I would have asked to have it all remade but there was a line out the door and didn’t want to wait again for what I assumed would be more of the same. On the other hand, the burger I had on my previous visit was much better, bun was soggy of course, but great toppings and real meat! My husband and I probably won’t be returning unfortunately, costs too much for what is ultimately just fast food and I’m turned off now.

Complete and total let down. Way too expensive Hamburgers where bland and underseasoned. Fries soggy and cold within seconds of taking them out of the bag. Interior is weird with bizarre reviews everywhere. Restaurant was not very clean in the patron area. Peanut shell everywhere with people digging thier dirty hands into the open boxes of peanuts… yuck. Mens room was a mess. Will not go back.

Burgers are expensive. Well actually everything is expensive there but it’s good. Fresh and tasty and consistently good. We only order one fry because the portion is so generous. You do get what you pay for! Highly recommended.

I’d rather eat MacDonald’s I first have to say the prices here are ridiculous!!! for a cheeseburger and fries with no pop it was $ 15.00 I understand paying $ 15 for a gourmet burger, this burger was anything but gourmet. The meat is bland and flavourless and slightly greasy. The Cheese is some processed cheese product that tastes nothing like cheese. there is a severe lack of toppings for the burgers The fries were bland as well, someone may need to retrain the over staffed restaurant that salt needs to be added as soon as the fries come out of the fryer. Also that fact there are no combos, everything is «a la carte» I’m sorry paying $ 18 for a burger, fry, and coke is INSANE!!!

I tried this place because my Easterner friends told me it was the East Coast equivalent of In-n-Out Burger. Uh, no. Apparently they’ve never actually eaten at In-n-Out, which is twice as good at less than half the price. The only good thing I can say about Five Guys Burgers and Fries is that they have a wide range of toppings and give you the ability to customize your toppings, a nice feature for children and fussy eaters. However, the hamburger buns were soggy and nasty, the patties were tasteless, and the«famous» fries were soggy and cold and had clearly been sitting around for quite a while. Everything was outrageously overpriced($ 15 for a burger, fries, and drink). The smallest order of fries was priced at nearly $ 4 and was, in reality, a portion sized for two very large, hungry people. And people fuss at McDonald’s for supersizing! Low-quality, not-so-fresh food that is ridiculously overpriced. Avoid like the plague.

Fresh cut fries cooked in peanut oil, and the best«fast food» burger I’ve ever had!
