Good Life Deli

Fantastic location for quality food. Bacon and eggs classic is my go to whenever I come here. I always try something new when I come here, and I’ll add to my review as I try new things. Great prices, old fashioned personable service, and a welcoming environment. Everything you’d expect from a place like this

Perfect place for a fair-​priced breakfast. Great hashbrowns and good coffee (coffee is included in the price of breakfast). I frequent this place now, especially on lazy Saturday mornings.

This is a small place with amazing food and they serve breakfast all day long. The coffee is pretty good and the serving size was also just right… not too huge nor to little. The service was also exceptional, fast and super friendly!
We had the frittatas and the 2 egg breakfast with hash browns.

It’s about time!
I first happened upon Good Life Deli for breakfast one Sunday morning, hoping to GET AWAY from the greasy, fast «Mc» breakfasts… boy did I find just what I was looking for.
The prices are fantastic to begin with, then when the bountiful plate arrives at your table you know you have found incredible value, after your first bite you realize that this place takes great pride in the food they serve. The fact that they aren’t just slinging some bread that you can buy in your local grocery store really says a lot for the integrity of their constitution, and the way the toast is served is awesome!
While sitting there, I asked for a dinner menu just to see what they offered, it was very creative — it had all the regulars, and some twists to classics — thank you, thank you, thank you. I could hardly wait to try this place out for dinner.
Well, as of last night I waited no longer, off I went with a golf buddy. I called to make sure they were open — now, I suggest you all do this — as of right now they are fairly new to the dinner scene so they close at 8, but last night I called at 7:30 and they said come on in, I said I don’t want to be rushed — they responded «Not at all». The 2 of us sat at the bistro style table, had some cocktails and a great meal, we felt very welcome and not rushed at all — we left around 8:45 to the sounds of a very appreciative staff.
As for the dinner food, well I had the «Bistro Burger», a burger with tomato pesto, caramelized onions and asiago cheese — words cannot describe the incredible flavour… did I mention they had twists to classics? FYI, this comes with fries, but not just any fries — probably the best in Hamilton! Seriously, I have tried most, these are either first or an extremely close second. My buddy had the chicken fettuccine, he was very pleased as well.
It doesn’t look like much from the outside, but the inside is tastefully decorated — and we must all remember that this restaurant is still in its infancy, they haven’t blown the bank on «pimping out» the inside — but you can definitely tell they have spent the money where it needs to be spent, on the food and the creative chef behind it. I must also give kudos to the wait staff who are friendly, knowledgeable and yeah, not to hard to look at.
I have been waiting for a place like this to open up within walking distance for some time now, I am glad Good Life is there and I will be back.

Great breakfast, good prices and excellent service with a smile and good attitude! Had the skillet and it was soo delicious and big hearty portions!
Would recommend and will be going again!
