We went here to grab a quick takeout lunch. Ordered two vegetable paninis and quiche. All were very delicious and not to expensive, either. I think it was $ 25 total for the three things. Service was super friendly. We waited inside while they made our order and the atmosphere was nice and very cool looking. Something out of a dystopian sci-fi film that takes place in Hamilton. But, this is the nice place where the heroes of the film come to eat. Definitely would go back again!

Great coffee! This café is really cool. It was pretty busy when I went but service was still fast and I found some seating on the outside patio. I got a cappuccino and besides the fact that it was a little too hot for me, I really enjoyed it. A great café to catch up with friends or to do some reading!

Cool spot, but way over priced. 9 $ for a chicken panini, hardly filled with anything of substance. Baked goods were awesome but I can’t get over how overpriced the actual food was. 25 $ for 2 sandwiches and a drink? No thanks.

A little dark and laid out unattractively but the food, coffee and service is good. Not the best Indie coffee there is around but better than that American chian.

A great study spot with good coffee, good food and a comfortable atmosphere. What makes Mulberry unique? Two things. First, the atmosphere lends itself to long-winded productivity, i.e., I feel comfortable working in the same spot for several hours without being pushed out by a busy crowd. Second, the food is very good and reasonably priced(see attached picture of The Westender breakfast sandwich). The crowd is diverse and samples professionals and students alike. A must-try. I almost forgot: free WiFi!

Came in here tonight for a late night coffee at 10:00pm. The place was busy, we were fortunate to get a booth at the back. They did not have any decaf regular coffee, but had a decaf americano, and boy was it good. Although the cup was super small for being a medium. The place has lots of brickwork and character to it. It’s a great place to hang with your friends.

This is one of my favourite coffee shops ever. I love the quirky seating. The coffee is great and the sandwiches are so delicious too! I wish they had somewhere to plug in my laptop though.

As soon as you walk in, you can smell the most mesmerizing smell, you meet the best staff, the best food and coffee the option of beers or foreign drinks, and an atmosphere that makes you feel so damn cool to be a Hamiltonian

This is officially my go-to place for good soup, cranberry muffin and coffee/tea. Their decaf coffee option is surprisingly nice as well. Highly recommend ordering focaccia bread with the soup.

At the suggestion of a local, I stopped by and I am so glad that I did. It’s definitely got an old coffee house atmosphere, brink walls and all. The lady working the counter was friendly and had a smile to brighten your morning. The food was equally as good. Long story short: I’ll be back.

Lovely corner spot has all the caffeinated bevys you’d wish for plus a list of beers and spirits. Grain bowls and sandwiches are fresh and healthy. Sweets come in many formats Paula Deen would be so lucky to get her buttery paws on. The space itself has a beautiful moulded ceiling but feels etsy-vintage, y’knowwhudimean? Staff are nice too.

I like this place. Cool neighbourhood. It was very comfortable and warming. Good space for business meetings as there is a lot of privacy in the boothes. I liked the authentic décor especially an old green door that is in the middle of the café. The floor had a very interesting old mosaic and concrete. It was cracking and gave it a very witty and decadent feel. Services were very clean. Nice light coming through the big windows. Can’t speak that much about the food or beverages offered, but the bold black coffee we had was fine. All in all, great experience.

Mulberry Coffeehouse is a hip, local coffee shop which also serves baked goods, sandwiches and beer. I always find the service very friendly here, and there is lots of seating space available, both inside and outside. There is a second seating area to the right as you walk past the counter, something I don’t think a lot of people notice. Tip: They have free(and very fast) WiFi!

A fantastic local coffee shop in Little Portugal. When you think all is lost in Hamilton, Mulberry is a coffee drinkers oasis. Their patio is a big plus. There’s plenty of seating inside and out. Coffee, ice tea, cappuccino, cookies, you name it. Excellent service and even patio venue. Park your bottom here on a sunny Saturday afternoon. Ahhhh, yes!

Has teleportation been invented yet? When exactly will jet packs be on the market? And I feel like Flu powder is a legitimate possible. Yes/no? These seemingly unrelated questions are all connected to my deep passion for this humble yet beautiful coffee shop located two cities away from my lovely Toronto. The coffee shop is set-up like all great coffee shops should be: a patio with tiny tables outside, a large wooden bar close to the front door full of baked goodies on display, and a back room for greater privacy. Gentle music and free wifi that encourages creativity and essays to flow. Gorgeous and helpful baristas that know how to put together a cup of brew. My simple veg chilli was amazing. Anyone that can take a classic, and step it up with fresh ingredients is a saint in my books. Thank you for one of the best chilli lunches I have had — this is coming from a chilli connoisseur. As for the baked goodies, the vegan macaroons are an obvious fave. But if you want to be transported to heaven with each bite — consider the coconut cranberry lemon loaf. My mom and I may or not have had a cat fight over the last bite. Even the basic peanut butter cookie was in it’s own class. Basically, go here. Damn you, Hamiltonians, always having the best coffee shops.

From the same owners as My Dog Joe in Westdale, Mulberry Street Coffeehouse is a chill place to hang out, study, and socialize. The creative atmosphere and laid-back vibe fit in well with the changing face of James St. N.(an increasing number of galleries and independent shops). It’s in an old hotel and the space is beautiful — high white ceilings with ornate detailing, a large hanging lamp with Hamilton landmarks printed on the lampshade, and local art adorning the walls. The patio on Mulberry St. is a great spot. The drink menu is similar to My Dog Joe — your usual coffees, espresso drinks, plus some tea lattes and iced drinks. I had the peach iced green tea, which was refreshing and not too sweet. I also tried the strawberry smoothie, which was super-sweet because they use a fruit syrup in it(I wouldn’t order that again). They have a small selection of beers including Mill St. organic. They also have a good selection of food — sweet and savory, but I haven’t had the chance to try any yet. Everything looked fresh and delicious though! Staff are super-nice. If I lived in Hamilton, I would totally become a regular here.
