We have been here many times over the past few years and never disappointed. Food is always fresh tasting. Portions are generous The staff are pleasant overall. During busy periods they need to have more staff to serve customers more efficiently. We have tried everything from the spring rolls to various types of Phở as well as some of the rice and noodle dishes. My daughter really likes the Pad Thai. It’s not fancy but the food is very good and priced well. Definitely a restaurant I would recommend to family and friends.

I sat for over a half an hour and was ignored after ordering. People came ate and left while my children and I sat hungry.
I left before my food arrived.

I’d like to give the restaurant a better review, but I don’t think I can. The phở bowls are humongous, but the taste isn’t there for me. My girlfriend frequents the Pah Thai, and she is a fan of hers. The service was absolutely horrible the three times I’ve been here. I believe The workers don’t speak English, and don’t greet you when you walk in. They point to a table and bring you tea, with a menu and you write your order. I felt uncomfortable asking for anything extra because it felt as if they didn’t want to help me. I find service can make or break a restaurant, and I hope it turns around soon.

Food is ok. But the service is just the worst of the 3 phở dau bo in hamilton. Food is nothing special that we have to put up with misserable waitresses

Had the Phở Tai and it was pretty good. You can get it in three different sizes. I had the medium and it was plenty. I’ve had better, but I wouldn’t hesitate to come here again. Also had the mango salad, and that is a meal in itself. I wouldn’t recommend ordering both unless you’re really hungry, or in a group. It was cash or debit only when I was there. The menu is pretty extensive and there were a number of people there and also some getting take out.

For a chain restaurant of phở, Im not sure how they could survive.
Their soup base is probably one of the worst in Hamilton /​ontario… doesn’t taste good and don’t make you wanting more.
This location is big and spacious and it’s probably the only plus for this place. If you really want Phở Dau Bo, goto the one downtown.
I wouldn’t go here again.

Best phở place I have ever been! I’m not from Hamilton but when visiting the boyfriend, this place is our spot! Very affordable! The Mississauga location isn’t as a good as this one here on Upper James :)

Well this visit was not as good as the last one. Only two tables seated when we arrived
Ordered our appetizer and main dishes
The complimentary pot of tea arrived as soon as we where seated as expected The wait staff where pleasant and attentive once you got there attention that is. Or main dish arrived but no appetizer the kitchen forgot The main dish was good as last time and we will return as the food is good.
