Have been here several times. The staff is friendly, the food is cheap and delicious. Definitely recommended!

Waking distance from MAC. Cheap price. Clean environment. Phở noodle soup and shrimp rolls are both legit. I would recommend to my friends.

Decent phở place, much better than Saigon IMO. Relatively close to campus. Typical items you’d see on any menu at at Vietnamese restaurant. The food is pretty good, though I wish the portions were bigger. The few times that I’ve been, the restaurant was fairly empty, yet our food still took a while to arrive. Would come back mainly for the convenient location.

Pretty good phở place, always clean inside and it has nice attire compared to a lot of other phở places. Portion sizes are respectable and the prices are quite reasonable. I think medium bowl is about 6.75. I haven’t been all around Hamilton to try the other competitors but this place is my favourite.

Ya know… We’ve had phở at a lot of different places around the GTHA. Some, very good(Phở Hung in TO)… Some, not so much. Phở Rong Vang on Main West(Westdale) is one of the better ones we’ve eaten at. The phở stock is perfectly seasoned with hints of Asian spices. The beef in the phở tai is still rare when it comes to your table and the quality is evident in the taste. Portions are appropriately oversized(the de facto for any viable phở joint). The rare beef dish? Herbaceous, tangy and lovely(though could use some shrimp chips to put all that goodness on). Pad thai is as good as any we’ve had. Fresh grilled pork rolls are lemongrassy and savoury with a perfect hit of fresh mint. The mango salad is slightly too acidic and lacks some needed heat but we are splitting hairs here: it’s still very good. There’s free parking in their own lot(which is rare out here)… So you could drive here from anywhere in the city. If you are an a-phở-cianado(sorry, couldn’t hold it any longer) get down to Phở Rong Vang… you won’t be disappointed.

This place has me so conflicted! The food is great, I find that the phở is much better here than at Saigon. However the orders are slightly pricier and the fresh rolls aren’t as great. The real issue I have with this place is the service. The staff here are incredibly rude. I had the owner substitute my drink without even telling me, expecting me to pay for something I didn’t order. Another time, I had ordered tapioca with my drink and the waiter commented that I «must be really weird» for making that request. Not the way to run a proper business. I still return because of the convenience of the location, but those are the caveats I have about this place

This is my go to phở place because it’s the closest one to campus. The portions aren’t the best, but they’re fair. The phở is pretty good, not the best. I really like their fried rice options though & their smoothies are great! Their service is okay, not the best, but they never seem to have enough staff on duty which is common for viet restaurants in Hamilton, I’ve found. The atmosphere is really green… which is kind of weird, but the restaurant is clean and the food tastes good! A bit over priced for phở, but it’s still cheaper than anywhere else!

I’ve just recently found this little cozy Vietnamese restaurant. It is kind of isolated from the core of westdale businesses and you don’t expect it to be any good. Stepping in does not immediately disapprove your skepticism either. Though the place is very clean, but it had a certain hint of tackiness to it. It is a combination of extreme use of color green in the wall paint and lighting or the music maybe. The menu is like any other Vietnamese restaurant. You get to right down what you are offering on paper. They have a big variety of phở soups, vermicelli and also Thai pads with a variety of supporting roles. The quality of good is really good and disapproves all the skepticism you might have of this place. Service is better than standard if Vietnamese restaurants. And everything is really clean. I like the phở, and the Vietnamese vermicelli. The plum sauce is really good.
