Went there last year, the burger was alright. Fries were fresh. Order took a long time to be ready. I didn’t taste any different eating these beef patties. So as their selling point it failed for me. This place is definitely pricey, if you want fresh burger and dont mind overpaying a bit then I would recommend this place. Otherwise it’s not worth the drive to downtown(unless you are around the area).

randys is incredible! the meat is all local grass fed and all of their condiments are homemade. in terms of condiments, of note are the ketchup(that has more of a tomato butter taste), the mustard(which is strong but not overpowering), and the mayo(which is incredibly, incredibly light yet still tastes real). they also cook their fries in beef tallow instead of artificial oils and it makes a huge difference both in flavor and the way you feel afterwards. you can eat a big burger and fries there and still feel great afterwards. it doesnt weigh you down or feel like a ball of grease in your belly.

New to the area and excited to find a spot close to home to grab a hand made burger. Staff was friendly. Burger was good, onion rings were very good. Saw somebody else’s fries and wished we had ordered them too. Will try them next time! Thank you Randy.

I just came from king street. I had a med. burger with fries and Pepsi. This place is so over rated. I bet most of you do not care about cleanness so I’m jumping to the food. Homemade homemade blah blah. The homemade as its called ketchup its not related to ketchup. Something else that is tasteless. Homemade relish? Have a guess! A@W or even Burger King tastes much better. It’s true the patty is fresh and made in front of you. But who cares I want a burger. It doesn’t taste like a burger and the fries omg. It’s hot but it doesn’t taste good. While the staff are really nice but I would not eat their. I certainly do not recommend for burger fans. I feel sorry I wasted 12:75 bucks on tasteless ground beef and tasteless dry fries!!! I’m given it 2 stars because it’s food. I was so hungry. I just filled my stomach with calories of no taste

Best Burger’s I’ve had in a long time. The wait is a bit longer then the normal takeout fast food but the wait is worth it. Very fresh it’s the next best thing to the In-and-Out Burger in the U.S. If you in Hamilton this is a must stop and try you won’t be disappointed.

Omg seriously the best burger I’ve EVERHAD. If I lived in Hamilton I would be here every day! I got the 9oz the first time round and came back for a second 6oz, and I can feel just fine about it because its got those omega 3s from properly raised beef. :) The only thing I found was that it was just a touch salty but then after I went back for a second one bc it was so damn good, they they told me that he could just adjust the salt because he does it fresh for every burger. So the second one was even better than the first which was still the best I’ve ever had despite it being a teensie bit saltier than my taste. Hamiltonians, heed my suggestion and take advantage you lucky ducks!

A few friends and I went here one evening around midnight. We were excited ! To our disappointment they were running out of everything ! Including bacon, and sweet potato fries and some other things I can’t remember. Anyways, through this experience I would never suggest to my friends«let’s go here it’s sooo good!!» But if my friends wanted to go here I wouldn’t be enthused by the idea but I wouldn’t fight it.

Randy, I love you. Small woman who makes my burger, I love you too. Vintage video games, more love even yet. What to say about Randy’s? I scanned a few of the other reviews, and yes, there will be a bit of a wait. This is an exclusively take-out, made to order restaurant. It’s not a classic burger joint with a greasy hot plate with half-warmed hamburgers ready to go. The location is a little odd, but it’s worth the drive. If you peer over the counter, you’ll see Randy(I’m assuming that’s his name) forming the patties like your dad used to do when you were a kid. You’ll see mountains of beef fat ready to go into the fryer. You’ll see bottles and jars of home-made condiments. Bottom line, it’s really amazing food. The fries and onion rings are some of the best around. The burgers are phenomenal. Wishing these guys all the success in the world!

I’ve been here to eat at Randy’s Hamburgers twice in the last few weeks — both times the burgers were delicious. The beef used is grass fed local beef. It practically melts in your mouth — yum! They render their own fat from the beef and use it for frying the fries and rings. The other unique thing is that their ketchup, mustard and relish are made in house. Unfortunately they are not permitted to make their own mayonnaise anymore — they used to and it was great! It’s not really what I would call«fast» food, in that each burger is made to order — things made with care TAKETIME. Don’t be in a rush if you are going here — but be prepared to be rewarded for your patience! You choose between a 2.5, 4 or 6oz burger. — upgrade to a combo including fries or onion rings and a pop or water and save 0.75 on the total On my first visit, I tried the french fries. They were great, especially with the homemade ketchup. On the second visit, I chose the onion rings — buttermilk battered — made to order. They were also good, however they were a bit overdone/heavy with grease. Great tasting food — a bit more expensive than your average burger — but well worth the expense for the quality, the source of the beef, individually prepared and great home made condiments — I’ll be back soon

This place is first rate. Well seasoned burger on an substantial yellow bun. Fresh lettuce and tomato. Fries were cooked perfectly. They have Mexican Coke with real sugar. Best burger I’ve encountered in Hamilton.

Great food, long wait, really only setup for takeout. A great Hamilton spot. Don’t go here thinking you’re going to have a sit-down meal, because you won’t. There are a few picnic tables outside if you’re desperate and it’s a nice day. The food is delicious, we usually skip the onion rings just to keep the cost of our meal down but they are delicious as well as the burgers. If you can, stop in and place your order and then run a quick errand nearby — you’ll usually have time. Or calling in advance to place your order(we’ve tried but never gotten through) might be an option as well.

Burger was good. Fries were very salty. It’s been a few months since I’ve been there, but the wait times were too long. Needs more seating instead of arcade machines.

Talked with a lady behind the counter, ?owner: Grass fed beef is from local farms. Very meaty and delicious burgers. Hand made condiments, definitely worth finding. On the south side of king St at Spadina.

Burgers made-from-scratch as soon as you order. The homemade condiments, especially the mustard, is delicious. Very passionate young owners who are easy to talk to. All items are local and sustainable — the onion rings are a real treat!
