Best live music venue in the city. If you are a true music fan, you have been here. Beer is cold. The vibe is hamilton.

I was probably the only person under 60 in the place. The cover was 20 dollars to get in, to see a band that didn’t sing a single note in tune. Would not be caught dead in here again

I have to confess, I have been to This Ain’t Hollywood a few times. My friends that live in Hamilton like to frequent this bar to see bands. It reminds me like a cross between Lees Palace(for the bands and the dive aspect) mixed with a neighbourhood bar. The folks that work there really hustle when it comes to serving drinks. They have an outdoor patio which is quite fun. **If you are in the ‘Hammer’ and want to go to a local dive bar that is fun, this is it. I’ve never has a dull moment. **

Owned and operated by Lou, Glenn, and Jodie… the dream of the punk/rock & roll venue come true. I’ve never had a bad night here, performed here a dozen times or so, danced dozens of times, always feeling at home. No venue in town comes close to realizing the true nature of sonics and proper vibes in the club. Backstage room is massive, and great secret hideouts to chill with Lou(while he blows your mind with rad tales) and Doug before/after/during sets. Yes, and Doug Smith on sound makes the dream come real.
