HIDDEN GEM MUCH?
My friend works in Enniskillen sometimes and raved about «the greatest ice cream shop ever» and we finally had some time to try it. It seems we came at a good time (9PM) because I’m told they have really long lines sometimes. There are places to sit inside and outside the store.
The store is very… Comfortable. The vibes are good, the staff is friendly, and the ice cream!!! There are four coolers of varieties that range from standard cookies n cream to flavours like Irish cream and raspberry lemon-​lime sherbet.
Ice cream comes in cones or cups in a variety of sizes: teenie ($ 2.99), baby, big baby ($ 4.99), and challenge ($ 8.99 — you are inducted upon a wall of fame). Make no mistake — these sizes are all formidable despite their affordable prices. The teenie is maybe 2 scoops of one flavour, the baby is about 4 scoops of one flavour, the big baby is two babies, and the challenge is about 8 babies.
We all came in overconfident and, despite the warnings and arched eyebrows of our helpful scooper, ordered one big baby each… One of us finished. Quantity is there but! Make no mistake — the quality is there as well. The ice cream is delicious and is rich in flavour (fruity flavour taste fresh, chocolates are sweet and flavourful, etc.)
I will be coming here again and again and again and again… I think you’d be hard pressed to find a place for ice cream as phenomenal as this one.
