What a find in Hope! We had been on the road for hours and needed coffee so I turned to Unilocal and found this little beauty! I had an almond milk latte and a handcrafted sandwich so I was able to avoid dairy. My son had a mooseshake and a delicious cinnamon bun. Then we walked across the street and enjoyed some time in a sunny Sunday at a nice little park. This place was great. Huge seating area. Clean. Friendly service. A nice change from the usual road trip fast food options.

Seems to be the best place to stop in Hope for a coffee, snack or a surprising range of other beverages. The interior could be brighter — it’s very dark. Service can be a little slow but then we’ve typically been through at busy times and it’s hard for a business like this design around the long weekend rushes.

Blue Moose Café is always my go to for lunch/snacks/coffee in Hope. It’s such a nice alternative to the fast food places on the main strip. Staff is friendly, fresh baked goods are delicious, and their sandwiches are huge! If you don’t want a burger or Tim Horton’s coffee you have to come here… it’s only a minute off the main strip and there is tons of free street parking out front so no excuses!

Our traditional stop on the way to Kelowna. And every year it gets better — food, drinks and service. Will visit again and again. Thank you!

I came here today on my way back to Seattle. A great place to stop for sure. Nice selection of sandwiches soups salads treats coffee etc. My family really enjoyed what they ordered. Took off a star because of the horribly slow wait for the line and food.

Terrible food, had the French onion soup which was basically Lipton onion soup mix, overly salty, and rubber process cheese melted on top. My first impression was to walk out due to the cafeteria style ordering and they even ask for a tip!

Stopped at this little place for coffee(my husband) and tea(for me). The décor is fabulous — featuring local artists. The drinks were super enjoyable. The best part was that the service was incredible. The gals sincerely seemed like they liked their jobs. They were joking around with us and having fun in a good way. I give 4 stars instead of 5 because the washrooms were not clean and the prices were quite high.

On the way back to Vancouver from Osoyoos, I stopped by Hope and grabbed something to eat with my friends. We visited this nice and comfortable café coffee house. We rested and grabbed a quick bite. This café coffee shop has a lot of varieties of sandwiches, paninis, baked goods, soup, coffee, tea and etc. I highly recommend that this is the best coffee shop to go to in Hope. Their sandwiches are fresh and they come with a green apple! Soup and baked goods are delicious. Coffee and tea were better than Starbucks!

Definitely worth stopping in on my trip to Hope BC! I had butternut squash soup with a ham and cheese scone. Both were so delicious! I highly recommend the Blue Moose to one and all.

We’ve been here a few times when we pass through Hope for a bite to eat. It’s always busy and the food is very good and different. The one bad comment I would make is that it is a little on the pricey side for their sandwiches and desserts, but as we don’t come here often it’s a real treat.

This seems to be the nicest café in the area. I had the soup and scone combo(I chose minestrone soup and a cheese scone) and it was delicious. If you would like butter with your scone, be sure to ask for it at the counter. Service was quick for me but my friend had to wait for about 10 minutes for her breakfast burrito. On a sunny day, get your order to go and eat at Memorial Park across the street.

I go to coffee shops to study, read, write, etc. I go alone. I go for space of my own. This is hands down they best coffee shop I’ve had the pleasure of visiting, I only wish I lived near there so that I could attend more frequently. I can tell you this much though: when it comes time to write my book, I’m moving to Hope, Canada so I can write it at the Blue Moose.

I love this place! The best rooibos latte ever. Cute interior. Lots of organic tea choices. They care about the environment(pasta sticks to stir drinks instead of wasting wood n using plastic n all, very cool). Only thing I would say is that the girls that work there sometimes have a long face, and it makes the experience a little less awesome. As far as I’m concerned, good customer service starts with a smile, and if you can’t smile, at least don’t mope, you’re not paid for that. But it’s like I said«sometimes». Because other times they are pleasant. I’ll end with this: amazing service is consistent service. ;)

Needed a pick-me up to tide us over on a long car ride. Huge place with lots of tables! Great selection of food: scones, muffins, soups, sandwiches, salads, etc. They make your standard coffee bar type of drinks. Their tea was from«Metropolitan Tea Company» which is known for their large variety of flavours. I ended up having the chickpea salad and a cup of oolong tea and my husband had drip coffee and a scone. Everything we ate was delicious. The only caveat of this place was the price — it was a little expensive for the amount of food you got. I would definitely return! It beats the other fast food options or greasy spoons in Hope.

Very well executed lunch café! Panini sandwiches were SOGOOD and come with either an apple or tortilla chips. It was busy but they have a great system so service was quick and friendly. Whenever I come through this area again, I’ll be making a point to stop here!

A nice gem of a coffee shop in Hope, and seems to be well-established on the tourist track through town — a van disgorged a large group of folks who eagerly formed up a long line that reached the door. We were already enjoying our very good cup of coffee and a muffin at the window seats, thank goodness! Hope has large wood sculptures scattered throughout the town, a couple of which are visible from the Blue Moose window. Sit, inhale the smell of nicely roasted beans, and relax! You’re drinking fair trade, shade-roasted coffee from a local company — a good deed, indeed!

A gem in the middle of the valley. This place has nothing to want from the coffee shops in the big city. 3 kinds of soup on the menu. Baked onion only for in dining. Flat bread Sandies look great and taste better. Cappuccino is perfect. The Fam stopped in here along the way to Hell’s Gate. And just seems like it become a regular thing when were out this way
