Good place to get a burger and poutine in Hull
Glad to know this place is close to work. With very little «good» food around to choose from, its nice that at least Mille et Une is within walking distance.

Dissapointed! This place is not the place to go if you are looking for an amazing poutine. The fries are not tasty and extremely over cooked/​dark. Hardly any cheese, all in all not a good poutine whatsoever. Also it is pricey for something that has no taste.

We did a water test of their small poutine container and their medium poutine container and it held the EXACT same volume of water.
So why are we paying more for the medium?

Shortly after landing in Ottawa last month (and checking into what the other reviewer aptly describes as the «monstrosity» that is the Plaza Chaudiere), I went for a quick walk to itch my poutine craving and found this place a very short distance away.
The burgers were thick and juicy. The poutine was rich, cheesy and smothered in beautiful beef gravy. The service was friendly and accommodating to my poor French accent. If I lived and worked in this area I can tell that this would definitely be a preferred «local» hangout.
An easy five stars — this is as fine of a burger joint as I can imagine.

Homemade french fries and burgers prepared lovingly by a caring owner and friendly staff. A stone’s throw from the Trudeau-​era monstrosity called Terrasse de la Chaudière, this little fast food storefront takes the old concept of burgers and fries and adds in a lot of quality. A new, upscale casse croute, and definitely worth a stop.
