My family and I were here while on our way to Banff, Alberta. We thought, for the price, that it would be very similar to Denny’s or other American-​esque diners out there. For one, this place seems to be ran by high school kids. Our waitress took our orders and never came back till the food was ready to be served. The food that came up did not resemble anything that we saw on the menu. It was incredibly deceptive and it also tasted terribly. We did not get our waters refilled till we had paid the check. We had a basic question about the menu, and we had to wave down a busser. He had no clue as to what the answer was and said that he would have to get our waitress. Why aren’t all of your staff knowledgeable about the menu?
I realize that Kamloops is in the middle of nowhere and perhaps the motivation to please and provide good service just is not there. But really? This was perhaps the single worst dining experience of this year.
There was pretty much no one to service us other than to take our orders and give us the food and ditch. No one was able to adequately answer our concerns. The entire restaurant seemed to be operated by children who know very little about customer service. I could see a young, college-​aged guy wearing some type of bandanna making the food. Just awful. I would stay clear of this chain restaurant at all costs.

Yes, we had a group of over 100 people. Yes, they were able to support such a large group and still pull off some decent food. It is a food chain and you get stuff like fish and chips and steak and tex mex and chicken wings and so on.
I did like it. It was pretty good and the staff were all great.
Guess we’ll be back again next year?
