This is going to be may be my third time in this small restaurant. I think is the only one inside the airport so you don’t really have any choices. The food is ok and the service too. The chairs and couches are comfortable to sit around and wait for your time to go in for your flight. Not bad for a quick bite before your flight.

Typical small airport restaurant — same menu as all the other Urban restaurants. There’s a pre-made counter that you can order food and they heat up or serve and you can order hot foods, hamburgers, fries etc. Pretty basic and nothing to get to excited about. The food is «fresh» and there are salads, sandwiches, baked goods.

Pretty basic airport food but a decent breakfast with good service. Open early for most flights.

Service was great, staff was attentive and polite. The food was fresh and prepared well but was a little on the salty side.

For an airport restaurant, the Bread Garden Urban Café is actually pretty impressive. Instead of the usual selection of pre-packaged sandwiches that I’ve come to expect from airport dining, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that Bread Garden offers an array of fresh salads, sandwiches, samosas, baked goods, and other treats. Normally, like the airport itself, Bread Garden is pretty empty. However, I was especially impressed with the service I received when a number of flights near Christmas were delayed and the restaurant was completely packed. The staff still managed to be friendly and polite and were very attentive to my needs. Oh, and for those of you who need to self-medicate a bit before a flight: yes, they do serve alcohol.

This gets zero-stars. Brutal service! The«owner» is a gruff, aggressive man with some serious issues. I had been seated at this cafeteria-style restaurant for less than 2 minutes when he very rudely asked me to leave, as I was drinking a to-go coffee I had brought with me to the airport. There was no question as to whether I wanted to order anything from the restaurant or bar. I was shocked, as the approx 50 person capacity had exactly 5 patrons, including myself in it. When I asked why he was so aggressive in his request, he replied that«he has to deal with this 20 times a day». I think my rogue coffee through him over the edge. My mistake, but a courteous request and a question as to wghether I planned to order something(I had planned to but chose to forget that!) would have been 100% more appropriate and customer service focused. Keep this guy in the back of the house or at home. I guess he has a monopoly on the small Kamloops airport but this was the worst service(non-service?) of my life
