Had a better meal here last time, so I upped my review from 1 to 3. Tacotime is still better ;)

On the upside they deliver to my area where my choices for delivery are limited. On the downside, like other reviewers have said, the food is a little bland, it could use some more kick. The salsas & guacamoles were appreciated! I really didn’t mind the food, it’s OK once you put salsa and hot sauce on it, but good food really should be seasoned before it gets to you. I think this is the kind of food you eat when you’re really drunk, if you get my drift.

After I read mixed reviews on here about this place I figured I’d check it out for lunch. Was kinda busy at the time but didn’t slow service down. The price wasn’t bad but it wasn’t great either. I definitely wouldn’t classify this as real mexican food but it filled my belly so I was happy. Think of this place as a better version of taco bell. The fact that they are trying to be a Mexican place but yet they serve pasta on the menu tells you a little about it. I would go again though. Food was decent for what it is.

I’m really glad they don’t use all disposable plates here like all the other fast food restaurants, but I’d like it a lot better if they didn’t needlessly rap everything up for sit-in orders.

My boyfriend wanted to eat here yesterday for lunch. I would’ve preferred to eat at Subway(again) because at least you know what you’re going to get. The restaurant is actually pretty and colorful and I liked the Mexican-inspired art work. As for the food, it pretty much sucks. My boyfriend didn’t like his fettuccine Alfredo and said it was bland. I ordered a «burrito bowl.» I opted not to have the beans and rice and that left me with about a half inch of chicken and cheese in the bowl. So if I had gotten the rice and beans I would’ve had a huge bowl consisting mostly of that. The only good thing was that the salsa was pretty good. The customer service was nice but the food is not that great. What this town needs is a a Chipotle or a Qdobe. Those are the only two places I know of that can make a burrito bowl right with fresh ingredients.

I can’t believe this restaurant makes it onto the list of top Kamloops restaurants. Come on people! It’s a fast-food joint, with nothing but deep fried, pre-packaged, processed food. There are way better authentic Mexican restaurants in town.

We love this place. It’s our go to restaurant when we don’t want to think about where to eat. About half our meals out are here. You can’t go wrong. Even the little place at the Blazers games(Interior Savings Centre) is good. Just a more limited menu.

I rather enjoy Señor Froggy! No, it’s not the healthiest place to eat… but it certainly is delicious and better than the typical«Mexican» fast food out there. I usually get the beef or chicken chimichanga with a side of chips & cheese. I load up on the freshly made salsas and sauces. The staff are always friendly and polite as well.

I was relieved to read another review that also said the food was bland, that means I am not just being a difficult beeyach. I ordered their Big Froggy Burrito(or something like that) and chose the veggie option. The burrito must have been rolled the wrong way, because for the first ¾ of it I could not taste any veggies, or cheese for that matter, until I found some onions at the very bottom. I smothered it in salsa(the salsa fresca was quite good actually, if you like black olives) to make it taste like something. It just didn’t taste like anything. It was mostly just rice stuffed in a tortilla. If I wanted that much rice I would have gone for Chinese food. I will not be going back there, the meal was a waste of my limited daily calories.

I knew I should have gone elsewhere as soon as I realized this was a shared Mexican/Italian restaurant, but alas, hours of driving had left me so hungry that retreat was not an option. So a trudged ahead and ordered a fairly safe sounding burrito, and it was just that, safe, but also forgettable. It was bland, mushy, and just lacking the flavor that one normally associates with Mexican food. Dousing it in hot sauce did little good, as the ominous bottle labeled«inferno» was little hotter than your average salsa-in-a-jar. The restaurant setting was nice enough, certainly nothing appallingly wrong, and the service was also up to a normal standard for such a fast-food type establishment. But the food was quite vapid and pointless, boy I wish I had been driving past a Chipotle that afternoon instead of this place.
