Starbucks

One of very few restaurants open on Christmas day, this location provided quick and efficient service given the long lines. Alas they were out of some of their sandwich options, but given the crowds this did not surprise me. There is ample parking in the area and the seating area in the restaurant is kept clean and bright.

Just a wee update on how awesome this location is:
In december 2013, I came to Kamloops because my Dad was critically ill and had been hospitalized. When he stabilized, the hospital staff sent us home to sleep for a few hours. On the way back to the hospital the morning after we went through the drive-​thru for our caffeine fix. The voice that came over the intercom was very friendly, and asked how we were, to which I replied ‘okay,’ to which She replied ‘only okay?’ and I explained that my Dad was very ill, and that it had been a tough go for us.
Anywho, when we got to the window to pick up our orders, we were told that the drinks were on the house — because she wanted to make our day. It honestly was so thoughtful and touching that it made both my Mom and I cry. I think the girls name was Kaylee, or Kayla, or something along those lines. Anywho, she really did make our day, and made a big difference in helping us keep positive.
Huge shout-​out to this starbucks and their employees for being the best!
(Oh, and my Dad is doing much better :)

One of the best locations in Kamloops by far but my only negative note is the parking lot has gigantic speed bumps so lowered cars beware!!!
The drive through is super quick when you order no matter how long the line is and the outdoor patio is nice and open with ample seating.
