The food is good but the service is ridiculously slow. Don’t go if you don’t have an hour or more.

Small place in the small town of Kamloops! I was in Kamloops for a meeting and got there the night before! Knowing the small town, I wasn’t in the mood for having pasta or burger and had asked the hotel clerk about good eating places and this is what she recommended! The place has a seating for a big parties and is a lot bigger than it looks from the entrance! Well, I ordered the spicy chicken dish! To my surprise, it was really well done! The chicken was nice and crispy and the side veggies seemed like they were dipped in vinegar, as they were a little tangy. Really good portion size and came with a side sauce, which I drizzled over the chicken and rice! Great place! Would recommend!

We took long term travel and got break in Kamloops. This restaurant is our best choice for dinner. Taiwanese cuisine is so yummy and no one won’t miss it.

I had a long day at work and I really need some good Asian food. We decided to give this place a try. We were there at 5:30pm on a Friday and we were the only ones there. My review is based on Taiwanese restaurants I have been in GVRD. Ambiance: Typical décor for an Asian restaurant. There are booth tables and regular tables. Staff service: Good. the chef, who is also our server, provided us dishes recommendations and gave us water. Our water is always refilled by the chef or an older lady. English is better in this place than other places in Sahali. Kitchen service: Ordered at 5:36pm and our dishes are here by 5:48 pm. Cleanliness: very clean. The chopsticks were hidden under the napkin to hide them from the elements. Taste: 1) spicy beef noodle: nice and flavourful broth. They use some other noodles than the usual. 2) Fried chicken with rice: I appreciate the sauce on the rice so that I’m not eating plain rice. The side dishes are kind of bland compared to other restaurants. The chicken is nicely fried, but a little bit too much batter. 3) Passion fruit green tea with coconut jelly: tastes good and so colourful! The coconut jelly is in red so it makes the drink look like a tequila sunrise. Portions: Good. Not gigantic that I have to take it home and not too small to have to eat elsewhere. Price: Compared to GVRD, about a couple of bucks more. Compared to Kamloops, it is about right. What I don’t like is the fact that they post tons of food on FB that is not on their menu. It irks me to not be able to see all the items on the menu. And with that, I deduct 1 star for not providing full menu to non-Mandarin speaking customers.

We are up here for the weekend, me and my Taiwanese wife along with 2 Taiwanese friends. I knew they wanted some food from back home so found this place, no reviews yet. I was worried when we pulled up, only one table being served. Went in anyway, ordered a couple of bowls of beef noodle soup and some chicken over rice. Everyone loved their dishes, we were suprised. Friendly staff, great food, clean place, what more can you ask for? Try it, you’ll like it.
