These people care about customer service and satisfaction. Great coffee choices and well priced.

Good food but if you are a big fan of any handmade coffees that is not the place for you. Coffees are Van Houtte. Good price and friendly staff.

Quite a cozy café. Doesn’t look like much from the outside but pretty decent décor indoors, with fair pricing and some good coffee! Their chocolate milkshake was delicious. They also have a bunch of all day breakfast specials, sandwiches, salads, and even poutine! The café is located right next to the bus terminal so is a convenient spot to cool down in the heat of summer while waiting for a connection. I’ll definitely be back here again!

I love a good coffee shop! I love getting comfy in an oversized chair with my laptop and getting down to business. As an individual who can work from home often and loves to people watch chillin at a café is the best of both worlds. Having recently become bored of the usual suspects… Starbucks, Williams, Mcdonalds, Coffee Culture I decided to try somewhere new. My first impression of Kavabean was that it was cute and comfortable… I found a table near the back with an outlet close by and settled in. I ordered an iced coffee and the daily special… a chicken Caesar wrap with cream of cauliflower soup. It was all very tasty but seemed a little pricy ringing in at 13.75 and the wrap was small in my opinion. The wrap was fresh, included bacon and croutons and the soup was clearly homemade although it was pretty thin for a cream soup. Coffee was simply a casual iced coffee. The atmosphere was very coffee shop like and interesting to see they had all day breakfast. I will probably return again and this time get the breakfast. I arrived around noon and left at 3pm. I would recommend heading there around 1 when the business of lunch wears down. All in all, it was a great new find in downtown kitchener with mediocre food and average coffee

My first Canadian review and it’s a well deserved 4 stars. I had ordered my Americano with a Breakfast Wrap and both were wholesome and delicious. The staff was so kind and attentive and the interior décor has a very relax and kick back kind of atmosphere. Jamais le Canada!

I have reviewed this restaurant before but j recently visited and realized they had made numerous changes to the place. They have booths in the restaurant now, which are a really nice touch, as well as a few other pieces of new furniture. They also have screen where they display pictures of their food. Great update guys!

Awesome little café. The inside is pretty plain but don’t be fooled because the food is great and so was the mocha that I got. the all day breakfast special is pretty large and well-priced. The mocha was only just over $ 1 but that’s because I got the medium which is TINY. Still even if you get a properly sized large, it’s still cheaper than many places. Oh yeah, there’s free wifi!

Halfway in between your local greasy spoon and Starbuck, Kavabean offers great breakfasts with an ambiance closer to a higher-end coffee shop. Service is quick, the seating is clean and comfortable, and the windows let in lots of light. Go for tea, coffee, light lunch or breakfast, but avoid if you’re looking for something fancy or real sit-down service.

Kavabean Commons is a great little café/restaurant in Downtown Kitchener. With friendly service and tasty beverages, it’s a welcome treat for those times when I an in Downtown Kitchener near the Charles Street Terminal for Grand River Transit. Fans of the A. L. Van Houtte coffee will be happy to know that it is proudly served here. Normally I just get my coffee to go… but coffee isn’t all there is to Kavabean Commons, there’s also great breakfast, snacks and lunch specials for those looking for more than liquid refreshment.
