Got a Café mocha(hot chocolate with coffee), but the coffee was so burnt that it tainted the whole drink. On the plus side, this is a large beautiful restaurant with lots of seating space and quite clean. Their baked goods selection was neat and full. Free wifi. Very close to the airport — good location to come and wait if you’re picking someone up from their flight.

I’m a fan of Tim Horton’s(in general)… Just not this one in particular. The employees seem very uninterested and not particularly attentive to the customer. Just didn’t enjoy the service.

The more I visit Tim Hortons in Canada and the USA, the more I like them. While the closest comparison is Dunkin Donuts for many reasons, they are distinct in many ways. Most important is the bilingualism displayed throughout Quebec. I love the way the staff flows easily between«Bonjour» and«How are you today?» I get a chance to practice my French(I went to school in Paris as a university student), and at the same time, sample the sweets in the large display cases. Where DD puts the goods on the back walls, at Tim’s the displays are right out front under glass so you can get a good look as you walk by to order. That takes a bit of pride and confidence that they bear up under close scrutiny. The coffee is consistently good, and the donuts, while more limited in options than DD, a pleasant sweet along with the java. There are breakfast and lunch sandwiches, soups, smoothies, and the hot/cold drinks you would expect. Nothing is great, but as with any decent chain, you come to appreciate the relative consistency. And, the free WiFi allows me to write this review while I sit in the shop and wait for what comes next.
