Tim Hortons is the Dunkin Donuts of Canada; or is it the other way around? They are ubiquitous, but each has its distinct personality based on local ownership and well trained employees. Ordering here is a fun challenge as my rusty Francaise often interferes with clear communication. Thankfully, the staff is patient, smiling, forgiving, and… bilingual. Actually, I often have a bigger problem trying to be understood @ DD in the States. The free Wi Fi makes this review possible, as my mobile app is unavailable where my Verizon services fear to tread. The breakfast sandwich of sausage, egg and cheese on an everything bagel is quite good; the coffee hot and effective this steamy morning north of the border. There are muffins, cookies, soups and private label coffee for sale here, as well. Overall, not a bad way to represent the nation.

Since I wasn’t able to procure timbits at the Tim’s on Newman I dropped by. This place had much more pleasant staff and fully stocked shelves.
