Had a wonderful experience on the terrace overlooking the water. Casual, cozy meal with a friendly waitstaff equates to a great time. The fried calamari to start was perfectly seasoned, the club sandwich had all the right parts including tender pieces of chicken, deliciously crispy bacon and an excellent complement of thick cut French fries on the side. Will definitely be back!

We found this place kind of by accident. We were biking along the riverside bike path, starting in Lasalle and through Lachine, when we got hungry and wanted to stop for food and a cold beverage. Every place we’d pass looked either expensive or closed, so we took a shot with this place since it had a big patio and didn’t look too busy. About 10 minutes after we were seated, it got BUSY! The patio filled up all the way(this was mid afternoon, around 3:30 or so). The patio has a great view of the St-Lawrence. They have a daily special and that day happened to be a big plate of mussels, which my friend ordered and loved. I got a hamburger and wasn’t disappointed. The highlight of my visit for my thirsty, exhausted from biking on a hot day self was the iced tea! It was home made with ice chips in it and was absolutely delicious. Will definitely be going back.

So bad it’s almost funny. Everything that could go wrong did. Hostess was rude. Avoid.

Aweful! I ordered the Eggs Benedict Chanceux. The menu says it comes with ham and tomatoes. It came with no tomatoes, it had sausage, ham, and bacon. The hollandaise sauce was disgusting. They used garlic butter. And it was as thin as water. The garlic-water sauce seeped into my potatoes, and fruit. Need less to say, i lost my appetite and became very burpy. The coffee was good. What looked like a 12 year old boy was prompt in refilling our cups. The meal preparation was slow. It took 45 minutes for this lunch bag let down. It also took them 20 minutes to clear the table after we were done. I’ve never been there for dinner… And after experiencing their breakfast I wouldn’t attempt it. Oh, also they advertise buffet breakfast but don’t actually have it. The server said they only do the buffet to get people in sometimes… Guess they do that when the rent is due. I checked out the reception room upstairs and the ceiling was leaking onto the middle of the dance floor.

Horrible, horrible, horrible. I could go on about how I got my own condiments and silverware as the waitress was absent the entire meal, how I had to track her down just to get a coffee refill, how the food was barely passable and how they garnished my 5yr old sons crepes with a jalepeno(that I caught seconds before he tried to take a bite) but I should also mention– we were the ONLY table there during all this absenteeism. All that crap I would expect at a super packed resto that didn’t pay attention to detail. This resto didn’t have another table to focus on and now I see why. No plans to return for a second chance.

If I can give a place NEGATIVESTARS, this would be it. This was my «experience» in a nut shell: my boyfriend and I seated ourselves(no one came to greet us). The waitress snared… Uh I mean smiled(?) when I asked for coffees. 2 eggs and sausage = $ 10. I found more hair in my plate than I have on my head… I’m not too sure I should continue this review because it just gets worse and worse. Never again. If you’re in the area, avoid this place!

This is a VILE place. Avoid at all costs! Wow. Talk about a place that stays open on location alone. I don’t know where to begin. –Service: Horrible & rude. There were two of these so called waitresses trolling around, on occasion. No smiling, not friendly, not helpful, and hard to find. The place had 5 tables going on and it took forever to be served. –Food: Quite bland, QUITE! And expensive. 10 $ for 2 eggs and sausage. I’ve rarely seen those prices in far better restaurants. Wet sugar packets. –Hygiene/Cleanliness: The place is filthy on a whole new level. The bathroom was disgusting beyond explanation. Any owner who let’s the bathroom get so dirty probably doesn’t care about the kitchen either. Then there was this filthy guy cleaning the terrace with a broom, he broomed the dirty floor & the chairs with the same broom. Gross!!!

Bien situé au coeur de Lachine. Le brunch est correct.
