KFC

Going to KFC is kind of like playing Russian Roulette except not as safe. Sometimes the chicken is really good and tastes fresh whereas other times, it feels like it’s been under the heatlamp for days.
I haven’t been to this KFC in many years, but went last week. I really wanted to try the double down zinger. It was something I had to try once in my life kind of like climbing Mt. Everest. Note: You cannot do both unless it’s double down last.
Really it was just 2 flat pieces of chicken with cheese in the middle. Should have bacon, but they had run out. Probably I should give them 1 star for running out of bacon as I’m pretty sure that is against the Geneva convention.
It was a lot better than I thought. The chicken was juicy with a nice crispy skin and the zinger sauce wasn’t too much. I had heard that the first time double downs came out they were really salty, but I didn’t notice too much. It’s fast food, so I’m sure it was loaded with salt, but not enough to overpower you.

This place is just terrible. I’ve gone there three times and out of the three, they’ve only had chicken there once. And it’s not like it was at 11 pm, it was always at peak dinner times. Also, the time they actually had chicken, there was still a 35 minute wait to get it. And there were only 3 of us in line…
