Cap’s Bicycles Warehouse Store

I’ve had a few experiences here over the last couple years and I feel like I can write a pretty fair review. I’m going to start with the negative so I can get that out of the way first.
Their staff is hit and miss, especially the guys who work in the back. My wife bought a bike (not a cheap one either) but we couldn’t bring it home that day, so they stashed it upstairs until we could return. When we did, the bike was gone. No explanation was offered. I watched the guy put a tag on it saying it was sold, and who it was sold to; I’m not sure how this could have been an accident. At any rate the Avid brakes on it were terrible, which caused me to bring it back multiple times for re-​bleeds. The service guy was a jerk.
Now the good news, they have some people there who are fantastic. The XFR I had brake trouble with eventually had the entire system replaced by Caps, on their dime. I’m pretty sure the bike was out of warranty at this point so this was just them doing the right thing for their customer.
Previous to that I had decided I was never going to set foot in this shop again, but they turned me (back) into a fan. I’ve been in for little things here and there since and everyone I’ve dealt with has been very helpful!

Very, very pleased. After a terrible experience at another local bike shop (Sports Replay), these guys had better selection, great pricing, great customer service, and I walked away with the bike I was looking for. I’ll be back there next time I’m buying a bike for my kids or myself.
