Always consistent service here. The chicken strip dinner was delicious. Ordered it fries and veggies. The hot chocolate had a mountain of whipped cream.

Do not ever go to this Denny’s. some friends and myself went here on a Monday night. The place was dirty with handprints all over the windows and 7 layers of dust on the light fixtures. They had one server so it took 30 minutes to get our drinks. The milkshakes did not come with refill tins and tasted like expired syrup was used. It took another 40 minutes for 2 appetizers to come. When we got our bills we were all over charged. When asked why we were overbilled the waitress argued with us and got very defensive. Was a bad experience, we will not be returning.

We will not be back. They got everything wrong, from first impressions to last. We went for dinner here on Tuesday night at 4:30p. Pleasantly, the«Kids Eat Free» promotion was on(from 4−10pm). After we were seated, my toddler’s nose was running a bit and there weren’t any napkins handy, so my husband went to get some toilet paper from the washroom. There was none. No biggie. I found a tissue in my pocket. The restaurant didn’t seem clean as there was food/paper bits all over the ground and about 1⁄3 of the tables had old food/dishes on them(ie. hadn’t gotten around to cleaning up the tables yet). The restaurant was not busy at all. It just seemed that their priority was not to keep their restaurant clean. We ordered: Chocolate Peanut Butter milkshake Chicken bacon classic sandwich(steep, at $ 13.95) A turkey melt sandwich(not sure of the exact name) Chicken nuggets(dinosaur shaped) and steamed broccoli for the child Pancake puppies 1. Chocolate PB milkshake. Worst. Milkshake. Ever. It was like drinking straight peanut butter mixed with a bit of milk. The only other flavour was salt. For $ 5, the flavour was terrible, the glass was tiny, and the«top-up» stainless steel glass was ¼ full. Not that you wanted more than 1 or 2 bites of this salty creation. 2. Chicken sandwich. I had asked for the pickles on the side and just a light topping of the«creamy pepper sauce.» Pickles: inside the burger. At least the mayo wasn’t smothering the burger. 3. Turkey sandwich. It was supposed to come with Cranberry and Gravy dipping sauces. We had to ask for those separately. 4. Chicken nuggets. Over-fried, on the verge of rocks, and cold. 5. Broccoli. Stone cold. As if they came straight out of the fridge. 6. Pancake puppies. These were actually all right. Not as light a doughnuts(obviously). We had two«free» coupons for these. Napkins and utensils? None. We had to ask for some napkins, and then still had to wait few minutes as the server settled some receipts at the till. No, there weren’t any customers waiting to pay, she was just sorting her receipts. The manager made some attempt to sweep parts of the floor, but it really needed a good vacuum all around. We finished our meal, disappointed that it was as great as we remembered Denny’s to be. When we went to pay, they charged us(and subsequently reversed) for the pancake puppies because the coupons hadn’t been rung in properly. We were glad that they overturned the charge(after their group huddle), but was disappointed that the error had been made at all. Overall, not a good experience and we will not be back.

Pretty good for what it is. Denny’s! It get way too busy on sat/sun which is the time I’m most likely to be able to go to a breakfast place. Staff is courteous and polite. For the most part.

Last weekend I had to drive out to Abby to pick up the husband after a Rugby tournament and I was craving breakfast so he suggested here. It was half way back to our area. For a Sunday it was quite dead but I attribute that to the long weekend. It was funny watching all the hung over people come in and you know who they are right away. Swaying and barely making it to a seated position. Anyway, I digress. Over all the food was great. I like the option of making my own Grand Slam since I don’t eat eggs. The service was really good too although had to ask a few times to get the brown sauce. I would definitely go back if I was in the area.
