Portions are massive so I’d suggest only getting two rolls lol. Also don’t go for the regular rolls because you can get that anywhere– try their specialty rolls 10⁄10 so worth the price. Staff is super friendly too they let us in before hours to just get us comfortable and warm from the cold. A+ presentation too, would totally come again

We were in the area for kids hockey in Aldergrove. Another North Shore resident(yes we leave our area once in awhile) had recommended this place to us. It did not disappoint. The presentation and quality of food was great. In our home area we have lots of sushi restaurants, maybe too many. I see more and more quality substituted for quantity. Hirame has quality and quantity. It is not ‘cheap’ nor is it priced wrong. It is really really good and it says something when you are taking pictures of the rolls and even the salad and sending it to friends. We did that… twice. We went two nights in a row during our hockey tournament and other families on the team also took our advice to visit and were not disappointed either. Although we were not in a rush and be prepared for service that does not push you out the door. The bill took awhile but we did not mind hanging out, but if you needed to get on your way they seem to forget about you sometimes. But, let’s key on the most important thing… great place, clean, big, plenty of seating, happy servers, and fantastic food! I wish it were closer to home.

We usually visit Benkey Sushi, but noticed Hirame is now open(June 2). Order the Thunder Roll and Take Me To The Moon rolls… these two rolls can easily feed 4 people… monstrous portions. Flavour and temperature were good… will come back but will order less. I liked that you can have a soda in a glass bottle… more of premium feel.
