This is not a new restaurant, they moved and so the best reviews did not follow them. I experienced the best tuna in my life last night. Now we’re talking Masterchef quality and presentation but with larger portions. It melted in my mouth and I wanted to savour each bite. I broke down and had the chef’s signature chocolate peanut butter cheesecake and by then I was stuffed. My hubby had the hot pot special of the night and crab cakes for an appy. This was also the only restaurant I’ve been to that offered a red and white organic wine. You must experience this little cozy little café that really is a world class dining restaurant so don’t let the name fool you. The soothing music combined with reclaimed wood walls and warm wood tables leave you wanting more.

A great, slightly hidden gem, in downtown Langley.
We started with crab cakes, that tasted like actual fresh crab, not just filler and mayo. The duck breast was perfectly cooked (awesome crispy skin) with a acidic and sweet berry gastrique. The smoked salmon linguine was inhaled by my husband who raved about it.
If we would have had room for dinner, we would have ordered any one of their choices. They all sounded delicious.
We will definitely be back.

Ignite Café was a pleasant surprise which I almost hesitate to review because it’s a small cozy restaurant that’s already seems very popular. If too many people ‘discover’ it, it will be even harder to make reservations. Great menu choices for all tastes; attentive staff; decent prices; and quiet atmosphere for actual conversations. The only complaint is parking — but that’s a small negative against a backdrop of overwhelming positives. Will definitely return … if they still have room.

excellent food from a great chef Dan. With a west-coast feel the dishes are amazing. Daily specials from locally sourced foods. The new location is perfect and because they increased seating it must reflect their growing fans. a great spot in downtown Langley City.
