Wish a ½ star was possible that’s what this visit to Milestones was worth. We went there for a late lunch when we arrived the restaurant was half empty most of the staff where hanging out yet almost all the tables that where not being used had not been cleared we asked for a booth the hostess said it would be about 15 minutes so we sat in the lounge and ordered drinks again the tables where not cleared the lounge was pretty much empty we took the only table that was cleared it was very wobbly we could not even put our drinks on the table 10 minutes passed and we asked our waitress how much longer as we noticed that it still looked like no one had cleared the tables in her sections at this point we decided it was best we leave otherwise we might be waiting along time and the service and cleanness of the restaurant was more like what you would expect from a greasy dinner. Just on a final note another time we went here they served my wife beef when she ordered a vege burger and is a vegetarian.

I loved my experience at the guilford milestones. So I brought the family to the Langley one for my dad’s birthday. What a disappointment. All our meals were very underwhelming. My ahi tuna tacos were bland and small. My dads steak was super fatty. I took a pic of all the scraps he had to cut off. They also forgot the aioli that was suppose to come on 2 of the dishes. We had to ask. At least the staff were nice and the service was quick, but for the prices this milestones really needs to step it’s game up.

Again one of those places I used to go to everyday. In the beginning I suck to the very basic foods but soon learned they are very over priced and do not have great taste in various meat cuts. I also noticed they were not as clean as their other competitors

We decided to stop here for dinner after seeing two movies in a row. We don’t frequent Milestones at home(we’re from Edmonton), but picked this as the spot to eat. Our server was friendly and efficient, and she didn’t even mind when we needed to rush it when realized how late it was getting. Okay, it wasn’t late by ordinary standards, but with a one year old left with the grandparents, late become relative. Our food was hot, fresh and tasty! It was the perfect ending to a great day out.

I had a Cali burger with a Caesar. Husband had the ravioli. Plating is well done, husband was disappointed with the portion. My burger was filling and messy — as any great burger ought to be. Our server was very friendly and prompt. Prices can be a bit high for some items but fresh ingredients and quality so it’s mostly worth it. Worth a return visit.

Of all the food chains in this category, Milestones takes top honours IMO. Service is exceptional(thank you Kamilah!) & food is delicious and nicely presented. I love the Sicilian mussels, ahi tuna tacos(that crispy avocado!), Mediterranean bruschetta… oh & the Benny! The smoked salmon one is a must try. I’m not a big fan of chain restaurants, but if I’m going to eat one, Milestones is it. Great menu selection & yummy food. Like most chains though, some of their prices seem quite high(especially the salads), but I guess that’s just the way it is.

Food and service is great. But, they need to keep on house keeping. Walls around the booths have food and dirt all over them. Clean the walls and it’s all good.

good service. good food. clean. only thing stopping it from getting 5 stars is the portion was somewhat small for the pasta i had. im used to east side marios and olive garden pasta portions. pasta is cheap to make. wouldnt kill them to fill the plate it comes on considering it was about $ 17! small but very tasty.

It says on Unilocal that Milestones Grill and Bar is open until midnight. Today was Mother’s Day and my birthday. We decided to go late to avoid the rush. When we got there at 10:00pm they were just closing. The guy at the door offered to check with the kitchen if they would make us a meal but I didn’t want to be a nuisance so I said not to bother. He was very nice however on Sunday they are closed at 10:00 not midnight.

Came here on a Saturday evening during the second week of December, and it was super busy. Our server, Ryan, was friendly and professional. The small talk was not awkward, he knew the menu well and was quick to address any requests. Ryan told us that winter months are their extreme busiest, going through the phases of Christmas parties, followed by late Christmas parties in January/February, and after that being the«gift card season.» We didn’t wait more than 15 minutes for a table for two but did have a reasonably long wait for our food to arrive. Even though it was busy the restaurant seemed to be well managed and the stafff very efficient. We noticed the tables around us, after vacated, were very quickly cleaned in order to seat another group. The drinks were brought to us by another server and this seemed to keep our waiter available to attend to his tables. The food was«OK.» We started with the baked goat cheese & slow-roasted garlic flatbread plate. I love this appy but always find the amount of bread on the /plate disproportional to the amount of garlic, cheese and spread. It seems like never enough garlic(we only got a small head of roasted garlic to ration out over about 10 pieces of fair sized bread), a little too much cheese(a whole 2″ ball), and too much leftover bread. Taste was great though, and the spiced cranberry relish has a great kick to it. I followed the appy with the Cajun Shrimp Diane which is not something I would usually order but came highly recommended by our waiter. I was not at all disappointed. My boyfriend ordered the prime rib, in «regular» size, and although it was cooked properly did not, according to him, «taste amazing.» Nothing special. I did notice the regular sized steak was so big that by the time he was near finishing his plate it was starting to get that congealed fat look to it. All in all just an «Ok» experience at Milestones. I do really enjoy their bellinis and would like to come for their firls night out Monday sometime(4 bellinis, 4 appetizers, $ 40).

Wow! I went to Milestones with my boyfriend for a nice night out. Milestones delivered! I started off with a Marcus James Malbec wine — this is a great red — I’m def going to seek out a bottle! I had the mushroom chicken for dinner. I am not kidding when I say I had to not make«oh my god this is the most amazing thing i’ve put in my mouth» faces everytime I took a bite — much to the amusement of my boyfriend. It was so flavourful! I do not know how they make it but damn! The chicken was moist and the sauce was to die for. It had a little pile of pasta and steamed carrots and green beans on the side. This is my favorite dish there — I’ll have an issue trying to choose something else. The service was friendly and attentive and the noise level wasnt so bad. I even had my plate cleared by the GM which suprised me! Nice to see one walking the floor making sure everyone is happy. Great job Milestones!

Milestones has great potential, but every time I go to this location… there’s always something. Whether it’s running out of the dinner special at 5:30pm or messing up a reservation, there just always seems to be something. That said, when I do get what I’ve ordered, it meets expectations. Doesn’t knock it out of the park, but doesn’t really disappoint either.

Took my wife out for a nice dinner with some gift cards we received. Neither of us have been here before, and we found it quite nice. We chose the«39.99 includes the wine» deal and totally enjoyed ourselves. We got 4 courses and every course was delicious. The only beef I had about the food was the garlic Caesar would have been nicer with a hint of anchovy, but hey, I know I am one of the few that likes that stuff. So no biggy. We also chose the behringer merlot and the behringer cabsauv. Both were nice but the merlot is the best. Very nice. All in all, an awesome dinner, but we found that the waitress bringing the check before we even received our dessert was a bit tacky. Other than that I am sure we’ll be back. I know my wife wants to bring her gf’s for the girls night special.

I couldn’t leave BC without having a meal at Milestones. I am really cool with Chef Roy Flemming, who is also one of the Area Managers of this chain, so you already know this was on my list of must-trys. I went for lunch and I must say, the customer service was exceptional. Drew was very accommodating and had the food out in record time. For appetizer I had the calamari. Not that tentacle nonsense either, but the calamari steaks. I’m never having calamari again unless it’s served this way. For real. For my entrée, I had the miso glazed black cod with edamame and potato hash, shitake mushrooms and a lemon coconut broth to finish. The crispy skin on the cod was excellent and the broth definitely tied the dish together and told a wonderful story. For dessert, I had the ganache torte with a pecan crust on a bed of caramel sauce. I love me some chocolate, especially ganache. In addition, there are also some Top Chef Canada inspired dishes on the menu, as well as the signature bellinis and brunch served every day. After talking with Roy and eating at his restaurant gives me a different outlook at how I view chain restaurants. I’m glad I left BC on a good note and I will be sure to return.

Sometimes for work I have to go for lunches and pay for them(thank you company credit card!) I was working out of Langley this day and thought to myself«SELF! What can we eat that accommodates all of our picky palates?» Milestones. They have good eggs benedict, so I figured lunch would be okay. I got the lunch special(11.99) and the mushroom soup was seriously one of the best I’ve ever had. The sandwich was good as well as my salad. Overall, very pleasing. Truth be told, I’ve eaten at this Milestone’s a few times and have no complaints.

I love Milestones for business meetings, night out with the girls, date night with my hubby or full on family meal! Food is great — Bellinis are fun — especially on girls night when you get a cute little red stiletto — means you HAVE to drink 2 to get a pair! hehe Miss my standard green salad — please bring it back!

Was here last night for a friends stagette dinner. =) I have not been to Milestones in ages! But found myself at the Robson location for brunch a week ago and again a week later… lol. (i will make a review for Robson st after this) We were seated in their outdoor patio. which was tucked behind and off to the side and enclosed in a beatiful green garden world! I loved the way it looked, and it had such a ‘secret garden‘feel. =) our server, jason, was a delight. very polite(even with some of the –ahem– picky high maintenance diva‘s that were there.ahem.uh, not me!). i commend him for his patience and if i could‘ve taken him to the side to apologize for the snarkiness of some of the ladies present, i woulda! i ordered from the special features menu… starter: watermelon and grilled golden beets salad with goats cheese. this was the perfect summer salad. light, refreshing. and damn good. i cleaned that plate off and coulda had another full plate! main: grilled chicken breasts with goats cheese(it was a goats cheese theme night! lol), on a bed of bok choy and chick peas. perfectly done, loved the charcoal grilled flavor… nothing on this plate had a chance… another empty plate returned to the kitchen! 2 of the ladies ordered the seafood salad… and it looked SOO good. i was tempted to order it too! but i held back… maybe next time…

I’m on a roll with these chains… don’t be dissuaded with all of them though. Milestones is one place that generally seems to get the experience right. Went to meet an old friend, just had beers and an appetizer. The server, Adryon(sp?) was great. He poured my beer, ‘just so’: not too much head, not too little. My appy, was the Wicked Kobe Beef Sliders. They were fine. The bun was a little too dry for my liking, but the beef, onion straw, and dipping sauce were all quite tasty little bundles. He left us alone to chat and didn’t intrude, even though we were there a Long time. Great!!!
