Nufloors – Langley

Just was in this store, would never go back. There were 4 people on the floor and not 1 sales person said hello or can I help you! Was in the store for over 10 mins.
Their lost, we needed new carpet, and tiles.
So sad. Doesn’t even deserve one star. Can’t take it off!

What a shame. My parents in Langley BC have used the folks at Nufloors 5 times in the time they have owned their home in the Langley Area. In the past the service has been excellent and the service has been generally pretty good. The job that was just completed was a botch from the beginning, saving grace was that it was a tiny bathroom and the floor of a closet so the pain was short lived.
Something has gone horribly wrong with this company
Following is a chronological review of Nufloors crack installer Andre Girard.
— Andre arrived at 9:15 over an hour late
— Told my Dad «if a job starts wrong it will end wrong. If there is any hassle I will leave right now»
— Started tile removal at 9:35 after 5 minutes Andre is in his truck making phone calls
— 9:55 tile removal begins again but now a friend arrives to have an early lunch
— Tile removed and Andre is gone by 11 AM
— Cost $ 500 paid in advance
Calls to Nufloors, for a new team, were a hassle. Finally Kristine took it upon herself to find installers who were able to come over and finish the job. They were polite tidy and did a really nice job.
Then we find the $ 250 worth of material that was unused, in the garage. Clearly the job was misquoted and over estimated. Paul at Nufloors wanted to charge $ 100 for restocking. I thought that they should pay us for storage…
Finally Kristine came to the rescue and got the refund processed and the project is complete.
In my opinion our tiny job was too small for an organization that does business in this way. With the exception of Christine no one was able to help.
I am always mystified by companies that use installers like Andre. Don’t they realize that the installer is often the last impression of the company we will ever have?

Stay away! My entire experience with this business has been absolutely atrocious. From the «car salesman» approach, to the horrible quality of work, to being yelled at in my home from the client care manager in front of my kids over the fact that there were gaps over an inch between the floor and the wall. There should never be a reason to yell at someone, ever, over matters such as these. Especially when you are yelling at your client, in their home, in front of their kids, over something he later agreed was in fact not done correctly. My floors are now buckling, creaking and look like crap. I msged the owner who is retired now and cc’d the general manager a week ago, whom I still have not heard from. When we build our home, we will NOT be using this business or ever recommending it.

NuFloors ended up reaching out (perhaps after seeing my previous review) and I just had a rep come in and fix the defects. He was great! I appreciated NuFloors coming in to fix their work. Thanks for turning around a poor customer experience.
