Good food, Large portions, drink glasses are ice cold for the pop. Good for take out or eat in. Lots of room for sit down if that is your pleasure.

come here for the food, not the décor. overall the fish and chips were nicely done, light batter and huge portions. my boyfriend and I both had the combo which included 1 large piece of cod and a piece of cod and chips. a nice glass of wine topped it off and all for a decent price.
nice service and friendly place. next time I stop by I want to try the shepherds pie.

We thought that we would start to patronize restaurants closer to home and gave Olde Style Seafood a try tonight. From the outside, it doesn’t look like much and the inside décor is a little shabby, but don’t let that put you off. My husband had the halibut and chips and he was very pleased with the taste. The fish was fresh and the chips were proper home cut style. The batter is very light and not like many places that drown the fish in a heavy batter. I had the garlic prawns and although they were not too bad, the sauce on the prawns did not thrill me. Too much salt (fish sauce?) and too much lemon. These would be better if they were more simply cooked. Very friendly service and served in a timely manner.
I would return, but I would stick to the fish and chips next time.
