Excellent food, excellent service, super clean. Osso Lunchroom has a chef that really knows what he’s doing in every respect! An unusual location but don’t let that turn you off. Osso Lunchroom is well worth finding and dining here. Nice décor within. Please check their hours before you go. I’ll be back, over and over and over.

Recently discovered this amazing gem from my Sister in law and am writing this review after Lunch/coffee with my husband. This place is truly amazing, exceptional food with stellar customer service. We were smiling the moment we came in the door when the chefs in the back had already engaged us in conversation. Went for an early lunch today, I had the Caprese sandwich and my husband had the bucatini and meatballs. Both were spectacular, the sandwich was on house made Italian bread and had house made balsamic reduction. The bucatini is freshly made pasta every morning and the meatballs were perfectly seasoned and flavoured. Simple food, but executed with pride and perfection. We returned later today for a late afternoon coffee and ricotta doughnuts. Ryan(the sous chef) was smiling upon our arrival and prepared the best, hot doughnuts I had ever eaten. My husband said he didn’t want to go home as Ryan had given him the big boy portion and had snuck an extra doughnut on his plate! It was an epic experience and the feeling you get when you discover a new, instant favourite. Ryan later came out of the kitchen for a moment with dishes with a scoop of house made Ice cream with their applesauce. Delicious! The countdown is on until our return, it is definitely our new favourite spot in Langley!

Well what a pleasant surprise in an industrial area of Langley. Thank you Unilocalers for pointing this one out. Went for breakfast, ordered 2 poached eggs, toast, bacon, taters and a coffee. For unknown reasons the order took forever — there were 4 customers in the restaurant. The meal was frickin’ spot on. Organic eggs, poached perfectly with a hint of spice, the potatoes mildly and perfectly spiced and the toast even had flavour. The bacon was excellent and chewy — not crisp — definitely not your Maple Leaf or Schneiders variety. I asked for ketchup and then realized it would have been an insult to the plate. The server apologized on behalf of the chef for the delay and dropped a $ 10 coupon on the table to make up for it. Now that is customer service. I’ll be back!

Stumbled upon this place on a rainy Thursday afternoon with my brother and we were both pleasantly surprised by the experience! A trendy looking spot with a cozy interior. Not a lot of seating, with just some seats by the window, a couple small tables, and one large table in the center. The large table can be awkward if you’re not comfortable sitting with strangers, but definitely encourages you to set your phone down and get to know your neighbours :) We had the meatball & padano sandwich($ 10.99), the prosciutto arugula pesto tomato pizza($ 11.99), and the butternut squash ravioli($ 9.99). I also enjoyed a small latte($ 3.50). Everything was delicious, particularly due to the care taken in preparation. The bread on the sandwich was toasted just enough to add crunch around the edges while the sauces softened up the middle. The pesto on the pizza was well balanced — not too spicy or garlicky, with just enough oil to be soaked up by the crust but not leave puddles(the crust itself was excellent, btw). The ravioli was cooked al dente so it retained a little bite which I love, and sitting in a brown butter sauce. Lastly, service was quick and delightful. Even the cooks in the back took a moment to peek through their service hole to smile and thank us for stopping by. Overall, really happy to have found a place like this in Langley! We’ll be back for sure.

Service was excellent, you can tell the Chef and staff put their heart behind each meal they make and present. Ingredients are locally sourced, ambience is great, great rustic décor. I recommend you have dessert here! Try the espresso icecream(you can taste the real thing) with the ricotta doughnuts; it’ll make your tummy über happy!

I’ve been here a few times now and have been impressed every time. The food is fresh and locally sourced: I actually found out about this restaurant because the farm from which I get my CSA sells to the restaurant too. The décor is warm and trendy and rustic and lovely and I want it in my own home. The food is perfectly balanced and hits the spot. The ambiance is relaxing and inviting. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a great breakfast/lunch spot. I only wish that they were open on the weekends.

This place is in LANGLEY??! Finally! A cool breakfast/lunch spot in Langley! We went for the 1st time last week, went back 2 more times! We’re heading there today, too, that’s what reminded me to post this! I NEED them to succeed so I have a great place to continue to go to! Impressed as soon as we walked in, a big ‘hello’ greeted us from the kitchen, and such a warm, yet funky vibe. The décor is not what we’re use to seeing in good old Langley, not a laminated menu in sight! No cow dung encrusted gum boots to be seen! So far, so good! We had breakfast and coffee. I expected your basic scrambled eggs, but these are REAL eggs, with flavour! Not sure what herbs they’ve added, but so declicious! The bacon is amazing, and the toast… home made bread! Presentation is something you’d expect from a little bistro in the city, ahhhh… so wonderful. The coffee packed a punch, had a hard time blinking for several hours, strong but delish. On my last visit I wanted a salad, but nothing on the menu was what I was needing at that moment. I asked the server/clerk(you order at the till, they deliver the yum to your table), if I could have just a basic side salad. She asked Sean(?) the chef/owner if he could do that… yes, he can! Big mixed green salad with all kinds of funky veggies in it, beets, I think sweet potato? Whatever it was, it was amazing! My only criticism is that I need them to be open weekends, but apparently they need a day off and like their families or something. There’s nothing average about this place, you need to try it soon! Today. Now. Why are you still reading? Go!

A locavore’s paradise, in an… industrial park? Believe it! I’d read glowing reviews about this place, so it was high on my list of restaurants to try. The room is rustic-chic, small and welcoming, but of course the food is the real story here. I had the beet and goat cheese salad, which came exquisitely plated. Perfectly cooked beets, a generous hand with the goat cheese, walnuts and a subtle dressing that let each ingredient stand out. Also had the vegetarian pesto lasagna — a simple layering of delicate house-made pasta, pesto, cheese and pine nuts that, again, let the ingredients speak for themselves. My one quibble was that the bottle of white wine we ordered had not been chilled — it came in an ice bucket but that was not enough to bring it down to an optimal temperature until the last glass(which at that point was delicious). Dessert was ricotta doughnuts, served warm and coated in cinnamon sugar, with caramel sauce; words fail me! They are not to be missed. Also tried the pot de crème, which was perfectly silky and delicate. An excellent cappuccino was the last piece of the puzzle. I really enjoyed the fact that the chef came over between lunch and dessert to chat a bit about the ingredients and where he sources them. It was a very personal touch, and his passion for fresh local food really shone through. I am already anticipating my next visit.

Worth every star! Been dying for an establishment like Osso to open here in Langley. Quality is top notch! I love that chef uses local ingredients whenever possible. One visit begets another. And another. And so on… Inventive menu, everything is fresh. Housemade sauces, pizza crust, dressings, desserts etc. Follow on Facebook &/or Instagram to find out daily specials. The interior is terrific. A little Gastown/Railtown vibe going on without being pretentious. The chef’s passion shows through his food & the experience he offers his guests. I will be a repeat diner here!
