Rosewyn Stables

Monique Frasier got me riding and cantering a horse (safely) that I never thought I’d be able to ride… unfortunately I left BC because of work, and I cannot ride with her anymore. Monique has all the magic ingredients of a great riding instructor. Among her excellent attributes: endless attention to safety, does not «cut corners», support at shows, ability to understand individual personality/​psychology (horse and rider) and start there with training, proven track record of achievement with all levels & ages of riders, ability to push people out of their comfort zone safely so they improve, can train and rehab all different types of horses, excellent knowledge of nutrition and medical concerns across the board, compassionate, fair… I could go on and on but I am running out of space. I really miss Monique & the Rosewyn group, my great regret after leaving BC.

My daughter has been riding at Rosewyn Stables since January, and I’m so impressed with her instructor Monique. Lessons here require that you learn how to fully tack up your horse (brush, clean hooves, saddle, bridle) before you can ride, so although the lesson is only half hour, you definitely get more for your money.
The horses are sweet, friendly, and well cared for.
My daughter is becoming more confident, not just on her horse, but in her daily life. I’d highly recommend Monique and Rosewyn Stables for riding lessons.
