Two times I tried and both times were horrible.
It’s too bad too, as I would really like the concept of this place if they could actually make it work.
Like others have mentioned, service is way too slow. I stopped to get a salad to go the first time and it took almost 30 minutes… to toss a salad with the ingredients ready chopped and at the helm like a subway? I honestly would like to know what is going on back there.
Then the food. Worse than a subway or McDonald’s takeaway salad. Yes, I said that. Some ingredients were a bit old so had long lost their snap and now I had some wobbly soft carrots, radish, and peas. Then the meat. Both times I have been there the grill was not a option. The first time it was not available inexplicably, the second I was told it would take 25 minutes to grill a breast of chicken… nope. So I ordered the porchetta… bad idea. It was ice cold and consisted primarily of the fat and no meat. I ended up picking it out, and throwing it away. The last time I ordered the chicken… Cold, wobbly and texturally foamy. My feeling is just that it was less than good quality. But for 14 – 16 bucks for a salad it was a complete rip off!
I should have just shuddered and gone through the Mcdicks drive through. Anything is better than this place.

Excellent food and quality. Great, clean environment. Waited about 7 minutes to get food but worth the wait!

I’ve been here several times hoping it will be as good as the first. They are always missing key ingredients such as avocado or bacon. They rarely have enough soup to last into the evening. It’s very frustrating going there for a salad when they are ALWAYS short on ingredients. They are losing business because of it. Walk over to superstore and buy what you need rather than waiting several days until the next shipment. It’s ridiculous!

Overall it was OK.
The salads we got were great! Fresh and delicious. I like the assortment of ingredients were great– loved it.
We also got 2 tortilla soup which were awful. Tasted like powder soup mix– thin, no flavour, weak…
My husband got the pork sandwich which he said was tasty.
The biggest issue was with cleanliness… The manager helped us and was not wearing gloves (no one wore gloves) and he was in between cash and making a sandwich– he at one point dipped his bare hand into the tortillas. He also kept wiping his hands on his jeans which was gross.
Would return for the salads but the cleanliness might just keep me away.

Visit 1: I showed up at 7:05pm. Ordered the Malibu chicken carvery. Lady behind counter said the grill was turned off for the night. I said «ok» and left. Btw, it’s open till 8pm.
Visit 2: Waited 12 minutes while one server was helping Customer and another was sitting down eating, there were 5 people behind me. I order the Malibu again and after starting she told me they were out of avocado.grr. I also order the Mediterranean chicken sandwich. The sandwich chicken was burned black on one side, but tasted ok after I cut off all the charcoal. The Malibu chicken carvery was bland and tasteless.
Over priced, tasteless, poor execution, and an unpleasant experience. I won’t be returning.

My gf and I read the bad reviews and tried it anyway.
I had a create my own salad with 5 toppings for under $ 10.
It was better than a grocery store salad and better than a subway salad. Better than Wendy’s or other fast food. Not out of this world but a notch above its standard salad competition.
The service is like combining a subway sandwich artist that takes your order while building it up, but much more pleasant and customer focused… helpful with your order.
By the nature in which this place is set up, it can be slow getting through the line with your order, especially if there’s a lineup of people… kinda like those pita places.
I give this place a 4 for effort and concept… glad for something a little new, different and healthy.

Great concept. Horrible execution. Took 20 minutes to make my sandwich which tasted awful. Cashier didn’t know the special advertised on the screen, out of beer, only 1 soup available, generally nobody seemed to know what was going on. No attention to detail, this place won’t be open long.

The taste was amazing, but it took 20 minutes to make my salad and the place was dead when I walked in. The staff moved so slow I wanted to jump back there and do it myself. When most people only have 30 minutes for a lunch break it’s pretty hard to wait that long. I thought it was maybe because they just opened and were still learning, but the girl said they have been open for about 4 weeks now! That being said, the salad tasted great and was very filling. Good value for the money. I will try again, but not for a while.
