I remember when this place was good. Slowly I’ve seen all the best girls leave or be fired(I’m not sure) and it’s just being ran to the ground. The only girl they had with any talent left to have a baby and I haven’t seen her since. Absolutely not worth the money anymore. I wouldn’t waste your time and $$$ my husband goes elsewhere now

I sent my husband to Tommy Gun’s in the Willowbrook Mall after seeing a location in Guildford Mall. The sign at that location said that a scalp massage and a shave was included in the standard $ 25 haircut. The reason I sent him to Tommy Gun’s instead of his usual chop shop is because he’s been working hard and also doing a lot with our two very young children, and I wanted him to have a bit of an indulgence. First of all, for $ 25, the hair cut was very, very average. It actually looked only slightly better than some of his previous $ 12 cuts at places like First Choice and Supercuts. Second, there was no scalp massage whatsoever, and he even looked confused when I asked him how he enjoyed the hair cut. It was exactly the same as any other(much cheaper) place. He didn’t get anything else done because it would have been extra. Maybe I didn’t understand their advertising, maybe it was just that location, but all I know is, I’ll be looking for some other place to spoil the guys in my life.

I know it was busy but when you ask or a cut and only get a tiny trim it just means I have to go back right away. Last couple of times were okay but maybe they need a manager to get(most, not all) to dress a little less icky. Style is one thing but there is a difference between good and bad attention as in ewwwwww.

The Tommy Guns in south Surrey was amazing, not as good as some American barber shops but still a great experience. New one opens 5 minutes from my house, I think: no more driving to South Surrey. What a mistake. I would rather drive to Las Vegas to relive my first«barbershop experience» then go back to that dump. The manager doesn’t seem to have anything to do with her time other then stand around and annoy staff and clients. She basically ruined what is normally relaxing experience. The barber was so nervous she asked me if I wanted a drink, no exaggeration here, 6 times. She also couldn’t figure out a proper water temperature, not the mark of a pro. Defiantly drive out to South Surrey for a relaxing memorable experience, let’s hope this one just goes away
